zoner missions against nomads was stamped down - by the nomads, as far as i remember. - missions against the wild is about the same.
zoners have no other enemies - except harvesters, but they don t count, cause they re only a custom faction.
and yes... about "every zoner you meet is flying a transport" - zoners ARE traders, - with the new system, you can hardly be a powertrader, but you can be a trader that is - ohhh.... trying to make money, ( i hope that does not count as powertrader... making money, that is )
in the end, most IC you meet are traders, most repex are traders, most bowex and most samura are traders. - and its not like those factions only trade "their" goods in "their" space.... . ( cause that would mean that they d practicly not make any profit )
zoner missions would be nice, but its not possible, unless nomads agree to be target for missions, which will then lead to more warships doing those nomad missions, cause we also know that - doing worthwhile missions in a fighter costs you more than it rewards you. ( pretty much what many other factions have - if a BHG wants to make good pay-off missions, he must at least fly a gunboat and choose missions that are not going against warships )
anyway - fixing the zoner rep is possible - and it takes time ( and money ). it does NOT produce powertraders, cause being a powertrader is a mindset, not a faction label. - but it does produce traders that other factions sometimes don t know how to deal with ( but thats their problem ) - its not like the zoner ID does not state TWO times that zoners can be pirated.... .
I'm kinda confused, looking at the list of bases, the zoners are as big as a house, thy have 2 planets (i think ) heaps and heaps of bases, several shiplines, a large cap fleet, heaps of their own systems
From now on I am considering the zoners as a House, a multi-cultural one like Australia,.Australia has no enemies, like zoners, Australia has never been in a war, like the zoners, but australia has an army too, like the zoners.

Australia has been in several wars, the first and second world wars for example, they just weren't the main protagonists.
The Zoners are a disparate collection of stateless individuals who avoid getting involved in other peoples wars wherever possible and make their living working both sides of the conflict.
Its VERY annoying, but if i recall, the missions were COMPLETELY shot down by keepers thinking they're poor defenseless nomads would be whored (apologies, i forgot a better word for it)

Well, every Order ship I have is now going to become a capital ship. The current situation where capital ships have been nerfed to be rather useless against all other non-capital ships, is perfect for the reintroduction of the idea of Zoner missions, in case the Nomads are worried about being cap-whored.

Honestly, I do not know what to say to that. Proof?
Maybe if we make a fake bribe that damages Zoners rep and doesn't affects the Guard rep, it could be a nice workaround. Bribe back and forth and we'll have it in no time. Could be nice to do the same with some faction IDs that are a pain to get. And completely acceptable as it requires money.
