The Combined Fleet represents cooperation. Cooperation of not just former Royal Navy and Confederal forces, but also cooperation of the Navy, Gendarmerie and Military Research and Intelligence branches. Navy handling border security and any large-scale operations, Gendarmerie ensuring day-to-day security within core space, and Military Research and Intelligence supporting both behind the scenes.
This Military ID is used by members of the Gallic Navy, who:
- Can attack lawful combat ships belonging to Bretonia and Kusari within Taus.
- Can enforce laws within Gallia House Space.
- Cannot use ships with more than 4300 cargo space.
Within Zone of Influence (Gallia, systems directly bordering Gallia):
- Can attack ships belonging to factions considered hostile by Gallia.
Why is a 2nd Gallic Navy faction needed? We already have GDA. Making a second one will just result in drama and distrust between 2 lawful factions on the same ID, in the long run.

Thank you for your feedback and a very good question to ask!
There is absolutely no need for drama - the traditional hazing period from established factions where you try to squash and antagonise the newcomers at all costs happens in every region and now seems to be nearing it's end or has ended already, as it usually does. We operate differently than GDA, target different players and wish them the best of luck in reaching officialdom and both have and will continue to cooperate with them.
We wish to emulate the success of DTR, 46th, HS>, GMS and other factions that manage to quickly integrate newer players and players that have't tried or stayed in the region before, log and play and just chill in the house and allow them to quickly rise in the faction and have a big say. We want to bring Roleplay Missions, casual patrols and sitting in roleplay spots, waiting for unlawfuls or people that want to roleplay to come, alternative in-game roleplay possibilities like the Gendarmerie and a more casual approach to PvP and dying to Gallia.
You might ask then - "Why even go official in the first place? GMS has big success in Gallia without ever being official, and you target players without long history in Gallia".
I personally think Officialdom gets a bad rep. We can propose Official Events and boost activity in the region, propose short term RP commodity boosts like the Military Salvage - Gallic Marines routes boost, think about re-integrating TLAGSNet into the ID as Navy has absorbed the Gendarmerie/Gallic Police and the House has none, help with law simplification, add Zoi systems etc. in other words - do a lot of good for the region. We have already proposed multiple fixes to the house that have been implemented and having Official status would mean we can help even more.
And for our selfish reasons - having one forum place for all our threads is both very cool and desperately needed.
Not a big drama really having another Navy in Gallia and also if it increases activity in the region then good job.
Some people say that officialdom eventually kills a faction but in my opinion as long as you actively roleplay do missions and organise events it will spur on others to do the same and also the 46th Fleet wish you lot the best of luck

Actually the unlawful response has been tremendous, just glancing at my patrol reports I can count 17 unique Unlawful indies coming to say hi in the short time we started patrolling.
