ESTABLISHING VIDEO FEED
Esteemed representatives of the Corsair Empire,
I am Christopher Rauschenberg, Chief Commercial Officer at Daumann Heavy Constructions.
I am contacting you upon a matter that should be interesting for the both of us: the safety of our pilots.
Indeed, the Rheinland government considers your pilots as criminals within our sovereign space, and unfortunately, so are the ships of our company in yours. This led to considerable bloodshed, both among our employees and your fighters.
I would like to open discussions with you about a ceasefire between your soldiers and our ships — Daumann vessels only. Of course, nothing has ever been free of charge, and in that spirit, we want to negotiate a non-agression pact.
We had such an agreement in the past with one of the strongest families of your empire, and are willing to have the same agreement with the others.
I have full latitude — if we all remain reasonable — to handle this discussion.
As I have been entrusted with this matter, I am looking forward to hearing from you, and expect we may find an understanding.
With utmost respect,
Christopher Rauschenberg
Chief Commercial Officer,
Daumann Heavy Construction.
I've been appointed by Her Grace, Executor Nagash to respond to your communications. Deterrence Fleet is not beyond talking with it's enemies, if it's to bring benefit to ourselves and The Empire at large.
We have been a bit surprised at your claims of a past truce, but after looking into this, we found documents confirming that claim, sadly without specifics of what this agreement entailed. Not that it matters, as the past is just that, and this new-found agreement will be written on a blank slate.
We're fully aware of your company's role in constructing ships for the Rheinwehr, and access to large quantities to various high-grade materials this role entails. Those exact materials are what we're interested in, to expand some of our installations in, let's say, more *exotic* locations, such as one I'm responding to You from.
Our terms for accepting a non-aggression pact will be:
- Daumann agrees to supply our modular installation: Reincarnation Outpost with a minimal combined amount of 60.000 units of the following supplies:
- Heat Sinks (no more than 16.000 units)
- High Performance Alloys (no more than 40.000 units)
- Industrial Hardware (no more than 100.000 units)
- Optronic Arrays (no more than 30.000 units)
In return, Deterrence will extend the following benefits:
- Deterrence vessels will conveniently ignore Daumann vessels outside of Corsair space.
- Daumann vessels will be able to request an escort from Deterrence's vessels, should they wish to traverse Empire's borders and be protected from other Corsair entities during their passage.
- Daumann vessels will be tolerated by our vessels within Corsair space as long as following conditions are met:
- Daumann vessels will not provoke any aggression with Corsair vessels.
- Only fighters and bombers are allowed as escorts.
- Number of escort vessels cannot exceed number of transports they're escorting.
- Daumann vessels will be able to conduct business with Reincarnation Outpost.
- The pact will hold for a month for every 15.000 units of goods transported, for a minimum of 4 months.
Do keep in mind that while Deterrence represents one of the largest corsair fleets, we do not represent other entities within The Empire, such as The Brotherhood, and You'll have to negotiate with them separately. We await your response, and in case of an agreement, an estimated amount you'd be willing to transport.
Before to attack the main subject, I better to introduce myself. I am the decurion Nina Rodriguez and I have been entrusted to represent the brotherhood and I expect to be understood perfectly.
Now, about the treaty of non-aggression. That's a big surprise and I am sure the elders were as well. Bien! On our side, to cease all aggressions toward your vessels, you will need to full fill the following conditions:
Condition uno: You will need to provide a certain amount of credit to the empire of corsair. The amount would be forty million credito per month. And the bank name is: Banco-00[TBH]
Condition dos: Your company will need to provide us hull panels for the empire's fleet maintenance. All will need to be brought to our shipyards. Rhodes shiyard and Tripoli shiyard to be exact.
Condition tres: If you have an escort wing, we will only tolerate fighters or bombers.
Condition cuatro: We will not tolerate any aggressive behaviors or insults.
We are not idiotas. We are perfectly aware such company as Daumann can full fill those conditions. In addition, the brotherhood is also willing to protect your ships against the Red Hessians our deepest enemy within the omegas.
However, if one of those conditions is not respected, the treaty will be over.

Esteemed representatives of the Corsair Empire,
I apologize for the delay of my answer. As you might have figured, secrecy upon the task at hand is paramount in my situation.
As a businessman, I usually do not handle deals through communication uplinks, at least not such sensitive matters. I believe that you would do the same, also I would appreciate if you could consider meeting in person, either in space or on a station — in short, a neutral ground on which we would negotiate safely and out of the public eyes.
With utmost respect,
Christopher Rauschenberg
Chief Commercial Officer,
Daumann Heavy Construction.
Guten Abend, my name is Executor Ravenna Nagash, pleasure to make your acquaintance. No apologies necessary, there's always unexpected factors in this line of work. I also prefer personal meetings wherever possible, as I like to get the measure of whomever I am dealing with.
Having said that, my schedule is extremely busy these days. I'll do my best to show up personally but do not be surprised if I send representatives on my behalf. I assure you that they will be able to handle adeptly any matter, with the necessary discretion and confidentiality befitting this potential agreement. Unless you have strong objections, I believe that Omega-55 would be a good location for a meet-up that fits the aforementioned requirements.
The time and precise location will be sent on a more secured channel.
Have a productive week ahead, Executor Ravenna Nagash

Esteemed Executor Nagash,
After giving proper thoughts to your proposal, there will be no need for negotiations.
The conditions you have put forward do not give me enough room to find a satisfactory agreement for us, and it would put us in a precarious situation not only towards Rheinland, but also towards other Houses and fleets of Sirius.
I deeply regret that we could not settle on a good agreement for the both of us, and will not take more of your time than I already did.
With utmost respect,
Christopher Rauschenberg
Chief Commercial Officer,
Daumann Heavy Construction.
A bit surprising turn of events, given that you were advised in a secure transmission that we are open to discussion and alternative suggestions. However, negotiations are unpredictable in their nature, lots of variables. If you do change your mind, you know how to find me. Meanwhile, I do hope you don't take it personally and you are aware of the potential eventuality that some Daumann vessels may suffer an unfortunate fate.
Kind regards, Executor Ravenna Nagash
