I believe our little verbal shootout with the Technocrat in California will require a more precise explanation and, above all, the truth. After all, I cannot stand bad liars.
Yes, my people did indeed worship the beings known as the Nomads in the past, but for most of history it was more of a sort of folk ritual tradition than anything more serious. My people called them the Spirits back then. It was only a few years ago that a group worshipping the Nomads more directly came into being. However, it is also true that for the first time in the history of our people, we took up arms against each other and got rid of them, branding the Nomads as our existential threat once and for all.
And to give due weight to my claims about the Technocrats, I will attach to this report the footage from my own ship that shows their leader, Revenant. I will not repeat the same mistake as the Order Overwatch and claim they are infected by the Nomads without any concrete evidence. However, it is at most clear from that footage that their leader is not the most mentally stable person nor the most responsible - her curiosity is clearly strong enough to suppress any morality about summoning Nomads and their infected ships into a borderworld system like Kepler.
Unless they change their ways dramatically, they and their predictable lies are a threat.

Hello again.
Thanks for being upfront. I appreciate this little insight into the Technocrats' past. Their habit of observing our ships as they go about their tasks is a concern in and of itself. So is their willingness to spill whatever intel they have managed to gather on us to third parties.
As you may know, our Code forbids knowingly aiding Nomad puppets. Now, most people have never seen a living Nomad, and the events of the Nomad War are starting to fade from living memory. So we're all a little rusty at recognizing the signs, but I'd say that flight log is more than a little damning... assuming it isn't fabricated. I mean no offense, of course.
I'm willing to trust your word on this, but there's also the rest of the council to consider. I'll tell the other captains to be wary of the Technocrats and whatever "assistance" they offer, but for now, that's all I can do.

I admit that I understand a certain amount of skepticism about evidence like this. I myself was in a similar situation when the Hispania Imperial two years ago - a very influential faction in Malta at the time - published similar footage of the Technocrats captured in the Omicrons, declaring de facto war on them. The footage is attached to this message.
I myself did not attach much weight to it and maintained a very cool and suspicious neutrality with them. It was only after the Kepler incident, which took place almost exactly two years later, that something very, very similar came to light and I had to rule out 'coincidence' - quite logically.
I would be wary of them around Rheinland - without a broader context about their suspicious activities they are capable manipulators, but fortunately, they are rather bad liars once you know more about them.
That is all I could say about the Technocrats, for now. I will be awaiting any news about Rheinland blackmarket bombers I would like to acquire for me own needs, Signor Weinbaum.
