Mr. Vicci,
Albert McKenzie, '\S/'Palomar and the '\S/'Aries have performed spatial coordinate scans for the Office of Naval Intelligence, free of charge.
Our question is - what's the catch? This seems almost too good to be true and has impressed us greatly combined with the speed of delivery of the service!
Leon Vicci, Starfliers To: Handler 36, ONI Subject: No Strings Attached
Handler... 36... is it? I assume some sort of codename or another. Onto the topic at hand, I'm impressed by my recent reintroduction of the "Albatross"-Class transports into the Starfliers. They have served very well in regard to working closely with our "Corvo"-Class Research vessels. The pilots who manned the '\S/'Palomar and the '\S/'Aries will be congratulated for their impressive service.
There is simply no catch, no strings attached with our services. I assume you'd want a reason, so I shall give you a brief one. We lived in Kepler for some time, and after a few months we were notified to relocate. Since the storm there was causing all kinds of hell for us, we took everything we could and had a mass exodus from our, now former, headquarters near Ames. Since we didn't have a place to settle down, we ended up storing some of our critical equipment on board the Starfliers capital ship '\S/'Velorum, and ended up selling the rest. Living off a small fortune is why I am not charging for these services.
