- i thought i make something thats somewhat similar to the hessian gunboat. - it would explain how the hessians have made their ship - but i ll change it to something fancier alright
explanation for the spikes:
- nothing big -its these things are invisible for the most part once there s a flame. - but i can shorten them a little.
There are two different types of Rheinland ships: The vanilla vessels and the disco ones. To me it seems like they are more of cousins than brother and sister to each other, (with the exception of the Rheinland bomber for some reason)
And this ship certainly fits in with the Disco Rheinland ships, not so much the vanilla ones in my opinion.
...Why does EVERYONE call it Somtaav? It's Somtaaw. /nitpick
As usual, an outstanding model! I love it, and so do three? of my characters!

well - i just read that the KS line isn t rheinland civi anymore... so there won t be a replace. this model doesn t look like a mining ship and shouldn t be one.
Oh wow, getting rid of the spikes and the cockpit change was a huge improvement.
Looks like something a Hessian would make...
The only issue I have is the exposed mechanics, all of the vanilla Rheinland models have the look that the entire ship has been plated with heavy armour, not a single spot left uncovered.
The KS-SHF series began as a corporate experiment to devise a vessel that could operate much the same as the KS-HF series, but with the optional addition of rotating crews to enable prolonged operational capacity in the field.
The designers, however, given free reign with expanding the size and capabilities of the already hardy craft opted to install the latest in powerplant and survival technology. With dual a overall power capacity inline with military grade bombers, vast ultraclean storerooms of shield batteries and hull repair nanobots this series of vessels along with greatly enhanced internal space for both crew comfort and cargo storage alike this vessel is the ultimate in deep reconnaissance for civilian mining ventures in both pacified and hostile territory.
I want that model over this infocard, to be honest.

No reason to throw it away, though - there's a Rheinland civilian LF, but no Rheinland civilian HF or VHF. Why not just rework it as one of those?
Or just completely abandon the revision of the KS SHF as a mining ship, but... eh. I'd prefer to keep the series as miners, since there's no small mining ships.
