. . Hello there, I guess if you're reading this, you have either just joined the faction, thinking about doing so or you're simply curious. This page here will go through the first stages after joining up with the Starfliers. So what do I do when I first join the Starfliers? Now, I admit that there's a lot of detail on the forum regarding the faction, what we do, our history and the like. Putting that aside, the main things we do are fly around in-game and roleplay with people. We do have a small roster of shared ships that are available to new members to use, they each have their own in-roleplay tasks, so essentially you pick a ship, perform their task and roleplay with those who you bump into! The main goal of the faction here is to utilize the Workflow and to finish off Research Projects that we have in place. These projects may be bigger ones that benefit the faction as a whole, or if you want to work on something for yourself, you are free to make these reports under the Starfliers and then submit your own SRP's and such. Most of what we do benefits other factions, as we may get requests to survey an area or to make a report on a certain subject and hand it over to them. There are guides that have been put together that describe how these tasks are done, those are listed under our Operations Guides. We also have an Internal Mission Board, so you can post there and earn some credits too. Posting updates saying you have these tasks, putting together cartography and research reports will rank you up, allows you access to better ships. These other ships have different tasks to perform in-game as well. In the end, you would have full access to the shared ship library. So if you feel like Scientific Data mining, trading or recovering materials from Earhart and the Uncharted Systems, you will have the tools to do so without any effort to setup the ships yourself. The main way to get accustomed to what we do in game would be to join others in game. We usually do group activities regarding mining in the uncharted systems or basic trading. That way you get to experience what we do when we fly without any weapons equipped. We are commonly found in the Starfliers Discord Server on voice chat. If you have any questions, I'm very happy to clear any confusion up, this faction is very information dense so I can't blame you if you get somewhat lost with what's going on here. . .
