Hello, whoever,
I'm Valerie Santos, I'm one of the crew that runs Freeport 53. I guess you know where that is, because you set up shop pretty much right next to us.
So, we run a Freeport, it's free to whoever obviously, that's the whole point. The debris sea's deep enough for more than one operation, I guess.
But it's a business too, so we want to know what we're dealing with here. If you want to trade with us, that's good news. If you want to intrude on all our best spots and try to undercut our services, we're going to have a problem.

Good day!
I'm Jaina Wheeler, representing Bristol Constructions & Manufacturing. We're headquartered in Bering and specialise in space engineering.
Mississauga station is our latest installation and tasked with taking over and either repairing or disassembling Toronto Station. Survey indicate a large amount of valuable scrap we'll investigate closer to potentially salvage. We're not opposed to trading with Zoners, especially if you already have salvaging crews on site.
We weren't aware you had such a large presence in system. If cooperation is possible we'd like to see how you would imagine that. We do wonder how you are currently fairing against Junkers who'd presumably be wanting all "the best spots" as you say. For that purpose we've deployed the Milwaukee to the region. This would be a heavy Oder class gunboat with its escorts. Any information on Junker activity would be well appreciated.
I'm gonna be informal like that, hope you don't mind. It's kind of an informal setting out here.
So, Bristol. I know a little about your company. I've stopped by your station in Bering a few times too, it's not a bad place to go as a lone traveler looking for a stop in the area. Not a lot of drama. I'd hate to see the big corps moving into our corner of space, I feel like that would ruin the vibes Ontario has. Low-key, off-the-grid, no big operations with big budgets, big fleets, and lots of attention drawing. I guess you're not really like that, so that's nice.
About us. We don't consider ourselves Zoners, although I guess the line between unaffiliated drifters and whatever "true" Zoners are is pretty blurry. We also make our living collecting junk from the debris sea, and ice from the Georgian. Some days you find something nice, sometimes it really is just junk.
We've got some basic workshops set up to sort through the loot and melt it into things people want to buy, and a growhouse to make food for us and our guests.
Freeport stuff, basically.
Anyway, I just don't want a situation where we find something good, like a mostly intact ship or a sealed container or something, and then we get a bunch of better-equipped, maybe better armed people coming in to take it from under our noses. We don't have a lot of people, or money, or ships.
As for the local Junkers, they visit occasionally. There might be some that are interested in intruding on our business, but we've got other local connections that can squeeze them if necessary, namely the Xeno Alliance. We've got an arrangement with them, and if you want to work out here, you better have one too. Those guys are hardcore and absolutely will not tolerate people who won't cooperate.
I don't know if they'd specifically go after someone to do me a favor, but you know. That's a thing that might come up some day.
As long as we just do our things in peace, separately or maybe together if we can organize some coop work, I guess we won't have any problems. We weren't planning to do anything with Toronto specifically, and probably won't in the future either.
Otherwise, you should check out our stock, we've got repairs, food and drink, travel supplies, the usual stuff, and we've got a cozy little bar if you want a place to relax.
Guess we'll be seeing each other more.
