Ladies and gentlemen, this matter is being discussed at the highest levels of liberty government and Naval comand, alongside the LSF and LPI.
My comment at this time is simple.
I will not allow any breach of Liberty law to occur at any time, no matter the circumstances around it. Bounty Hunters wishing to hunt Zoners in Liberty will have to be ready to rpovide evidence first of them having broken house laws. Interspace employees having leveled this bounty which can apprently be hunted within my juresdiction will have to provide me with evidence of these zoners having broken liberty law.
You will not have your squabble in the house I protect. However, if any hunter, interspace employee or zoner does break the law or act in a way that requires the Navy's attention than I will come down extremely heavily on the various people involved.
I will make a more official statement as soon as this has been talked through. Enquiries are being lauched.

Collard,
We re-supply our own bases with some of those "cap" ships that on some occasions go to the likes of Ames and Freeport 2. Any one that enters Liberty space gets permission to do so. If they don't then they face the consequence of the LPI and Liberty Navy. In case you forgot, FP2 is caught right in the middle of a war zone, which is why some time ago I negotiated with the Liberty Government to allow our ships to supply it. We also have a NFZ to enforce with all the fighting that's gone on there. As with FP2, the only way to Ames is through house space.
Bribing the LPI? Prove it! You make such ludicrous accusations. You make an unlawful bounty and you got called on it. Deal with it!
BTW, we have an open door policy with our bases for the most part and just about anyone can use them. Insurance rates? Hah! Insurance agents to me are the biggest criminals around. You'll find just about any reason to raise them for a nice CEO bonus.
As far as Corsairs in Liberty? That's a police and Navy matter, NOT yours.
Collard, we don't need your bloody arm-twisting blackmailing usurious insurance policies. The TAZ alone has several billions in unused assets which we will happily volunteer to underwrite any TAZ, CoZ, or known reputable Zoners who are harmed by your ridiculous bounties.
How will your fellow Interspace executives react when vast sums of premiums stop flowing into your greedy pockets, hmm?
Do YOU personally have the liquid reserves to staunch such a massaive hemhorraging of red ink, sir?
Not to mention the costs when we sue your arrogant arse personally to Timbuktu and back for harrassment, defamation of character, and possible serious felonious charges associated with this ridiculous "blanket" bounty of all Zoners.
If you have evidence, nay, even your touted "suspicions" of one or two or even six irreputable Zoners, then make their names known now, and stop playing the shy coquette. You are disgusting.
Submit the names, and your evidence immediately, sir, or all current policies on ALL Zoner vessels and properties insured by your company will quickly and "mysteriously" begin to lapse.
Explain that at your next Board Meeting, Mr. Collard.
Now I have been away on some rather badly needed relaxation, only to come back and find you speaking as if you are the sole "moral" and "legal" voice for the entire House of Liberty; when in my estimation, you are nothing more than a rather large and embarrassing boil on the arse of Liberty and Interspace Commerce.
This fine and hitherto reputable organization should now have no trouble realizing what a gross error in judgement it made in giving you a job, much less an office.
Good luck in finding your next position, Collard.
Perhaps a position of humility and contriteness right now would save your career; but somehow, I doubt it.
Mhm. So the Zoners threaten us with more bribery, scams and insurance frauds. Just what we are looking for. Mind paying us a visit on Newark or any other Interspace station, Malaclypse? You've been invited to a private party ... the food, drinks and escort service are for free...
Thanks for proving my point.
by the way, any evidence we gather will be sent exclusively to the Liberty Security Force and/or Liberty Navy if they request it. That is all we're bound to do.

You work for, and I'm going to say this real slow for you so it sinks in, an i-n-s-u-r-a-n-c-e c-o-m-p-a-n-y. This does not mean a police agency. You do not have legal authority to assault civilians and detain them against their will, nor do you have authority to hire independent contracters to do it for you. It is kidnapping, assault, and battery, and if you're going to pull the "you bribed the police" card, so am I - that's the only reason I can see that you haven't been legally detained.
We provide our own insurance, of the heavily-armed variety. Corsairs can't read your pathetic contracts anyway.

That had about as much point as a cleaning sponge. Not that you'd know the first thing about cleaning.
Being known for issuing bounties doesn't excuse you from an unlawful contract. How would you react if we started "borrowing" some of your employees for interrogation on charges we provided no evidence of up in Tau-37? You'd call the police immediately to try to deal with it, wouldn't you?

I accept your invitation, sir, and gladly. I have nothing to hide, and will submit for interrogation willingly.
You will find my vessel to be without weapons of any kind.
We shall get to the bottom of this together, you and I, once and for all.

All right, I'll play your little game along with Mal. If circumstances allow, I'll go to Newark. I'm not hard to "control" as I fly a transport. Oh, and what evidence I gain from you will also be turned over to authorities so that you too can be brought up on charges of insurance fraud. And um, have a nice day.
