Using out of RP information on a character that shouldn't know those things or giving yourself excessive RP powers over others without actually playing it out ingame.

At its core, it's using knowledge your character shouldn't have.
That definition does leave room for a few beneficial uses - if you know there's a Corsair Decurion in Omega-7, you can leave your BHG Gunship at home - so it more commonly refers to using such knowledge to your advantage. For example, using your gunship because you know it's a Decurion.

That's the only correct one of your list. The others can be done quite legitimately.
Another example of metagaming,
Looking in *closed/secure* communications on the forums when you are not part of that faction or communication, for information.
It's ok to read them for fun, but not to use any info you see in there.
It's usually best to stay out, if you have problems controlling yourself.
