O. I went back and tried again, you are right, bloody turrets seem to be harder to unstick now. These babies
seem to have got tougher with each mod update.
Took me the best part of an hour to get four of the mothers, with ten hammies thrown in for good measure.
Lucky really, needed all the batts lying around, and a whole lot of the botts too. Damage was fortunately fairly
minimal on my return to base.
Worked out it takes around eighteen passes using a torp and guns, to kill each one, plus the Hammerhead cull.
I was using a Sabre, bit less armour, but a touch more manouverability, and got home with no batts and a
handful of my botts exhausted.
Sweaty palms and aching wrists are an option. Swearing doesn't seem to work at all ...

This is why I just bring out the ole Renegade (My triple ace liberty cruiser) to kill them there Bountie Hunters. *Speaks in southern accent*
I am a long-absent Supreme Commander, Executive Commander, Grand Admiral, Fleet Admiral, and Captain in the mighty Hellfire Legion. I have returned, and am on an urgent mission from Drake Thastus to return the Legion to its former glory, and to claim the galaxy for its own. Only then will I be able to rest.
RP Story (Still deciding whether or not to finish)
The whole idea is to have the missions make you think twice before taking them in a single fighter. To create a
situation where factions have to fly their members together to get these missions done.
Much more realistic ...
Capships for solos are now almost a must. But thats realistic too. Don't turn up to a gunfight carrying a knife,
it will end in tears. Its all about roleplay guys ... Not an easy credit or two.

Flying in a straight line is a BAD thing to do (Hoodlum already noted this)
'Battle Awareness' is vital, try to know what is going on around you at all times.
DO NOT switch targets until it is dead and gone.
If you get into a mission with a Capital ship + fighters..... take out the fighters first.
Use your EARS as well as your eyes, your 'onboard computer' will yell info at you all the time (incoming missile anyone?)(and if you are wearing headphones you can sometimes 'hear' where the next bad guy is..)
Keep a finger ready to hit the 'tractor' button, never know when you will pick up badly needed bats/bots/ammo
