I came with conclusion that these two faction shouldnt be allied.
Now why I think so:
1. They have diffrent aims.
2. Oder is fightin for people, which Corsairs are trying to plunder, rape and rob. (reason enough for hostility?)
Now I understand Omicron delta complicated situation, but thats far from enought for alliance. Perhaps Friendly at most, but no allied.
Most brutal pirates and heroes of the sirius .... allied? well in my eyes not quite a team. State your opinion. Perhaps you know something I dont know. I would love to read it if you do.

The Order wanted the Corsairs to train their pilots.
The Corsairs wanted the Order's advanced technology.
Simple.
I agree with you on the fact that it doesn't make much sense. But they both had their aims achieved with the alliance, so they all became happy campers.

why? you think order will have so strong nation as corsairs, right in front of their doors as enemies?...

that was earlier. But now? What those sides gain from thesedays alliance? what is the motive which is holdin them togheter in alliance? Nomads?... Order would hold nomads with out corsair alliance too. BHG? well both fight them, but one enemy in one are of sirius I doubt that is enought for an alliance.
What you sated is more like single agreement than long term relationship.

I agree, but what if the Order finds even more advanced technology. The Corsairs still want the alliance, if the Order find more advanced technology and the Corsairs are their allies then they have to share it.
And the Order still needs the Corsairs to train their pilots. Another fact for the alliance which I just remembered, I think it's a reason the Order want it, is for the fact that the Corsairs have a larger ship building capacity.

ok, i type what i typed before.
kill the alliance, become hostile and then dont cry when corsairs will not saving your lifes in fights with bounty hunters, but raid minor when hutners are busy somewhere else.
then you can have fun from raids of corsairs(with all the caps), hunters, nomads...
maybe it make your life easier...
but to the question what they have from alliance, most important thing is that they are backing each other from one side against enemies...
You aren't the only one to notice the improbability of the Corsair-Hogosha-Alliance.
The Corsairs and Order both got what they wanted and now it's time to move on. Corsair (and Hogosha) diplomatic status should be moved to neutral.
Some points to consider:
1) While the Order are not boy scouts, they aren't amoral pirates either. Point of interest: a certain Corsair faction's interest in turning unarmed Zoner Whales into pinatas in the Omegas. That specific phenomena will eventually pass, but in any case Corsairs will always consider Zoners (a Order ally!) a target for easy pickings. So you here you have an ally committing crimes on another ally. Oopsie!
2) Corsairs/Hogosha smuggle Nomad artifacts with the approval of the Order. A self-defeating policy and not terribly logical. The Corsairs/Hogosha do not have the wherewithal to inspect every single artifact for signs of activity. All they're worried about is making a buck.
3) Any future positive diplomatic developments with lawful House entities are made all that more tenuous by being allied with clearly criminal elements.
Well just accept it. The Alliance is there and it will not be removed in the near future if nothing really really important happens. End of story. Good night.
