Osiris does not need any more guns, Why? Because it is the most maneuverable Battleship in the mod, therefore having less guns. And for the Lib Dread...It ispractically like the Osiris.
The Osiris doesn't need any more guns, but it does need an armor upgrade. It has 340000, compared to the liberty dred's 420000, and they have only a small difference in manuverability.
I am a long-absent Supreme Commander, Executive Commander, Grand Admiral, Fleet Admiral, and Captain in the mighty Hellfire Legion. I have returned, and am on an urgent mission from Drake Thastus to return the Legion to its former glory, and to claim the galaxy for its own. Only then will I be able to rest.
RP Story (Still deciding whether or not to finish)
The Osiris is probably the best BS as it is right now. Its so small and agile it can dodge BRs and Infernos, while firing back equally deadly ones. The Liberty Dreadnaught is not far behind. The low armor is the only thing the other BSs have an advantage in to kill the thing.
If anything, Liberty Dread needs a reduction to 380,000.
Kusari BS is a behemoth.. Bretonia BS isn't NEAR the size of it. The Outcast Dreadnaught is TWICE the size of a Bretonian BS. You can't group them together and compare. The Outcast BS has 16 or 18 turrets, twice the size of the Bretonia BS. Little agility, and high armor. Bret BS has about 14 turrets, smaller size, higher agility, lower armor. Two advantages and two disadvantages. Let me clue you into something here.. The Kusari BS is quite possibly the weakest BS in the game.
For one, those fins make it HUGE. Nearly the size of the Outcast Dreadnaught. Near the same armor as that Dreadnaught. Sure, 18 turrets, but keep in mind a BS like the Osiris can hide between those fins and take damage from a total of like 5 turrets. [sarcasm]Woopy, so much damage.. [/sarcasm]
Also, those fins make it tall, in addition to it being wide and long. As opposed to the Outcast Dreadnaught at an even bigger size, but longer, thinner, and shorter. Making shots harder to hit. The longer size doesn't matter much if the person is pointing straight at you, or strafing up/down instead of left/right.
No matter what way the Kusari BS is pointing, its a big target.
The Kusari BS is weak enough as it is. The Osiris is already the best, Liberty Dreadnaught not far behind it, and the Outcast Dreadnaught is fine for its size. All the BSs are nearly equal at the moment, giving only a few an edge against the others. This edge can be countered with skill, and thats how it should be. Please don't screw up the balance.
In terms of turret damage being upped, yes. Definitely yes, except for the missiles. BRs and Infernos will need to be upped a bit too, to keep balance between normal turrets and specialized.
' Wrote:800 million is way to much to pay for an armour upgrade, No matter how good it is...Who would buy it?
Well now theres a thing, I know of at least one out there already. Nova its relative, comes down to how much
work you are prepared to put in to gain a slight edge.
The rest is down to your skill and choice of battleship ...

Osiris, IMO, must go back to the original 8 turrets layout. It can't be considered a battleship, but a pocket Battleship. It's too small and maneuverable to be considered a BS.
In fact, if we compare it to the dread, and consider that the people who designed it already had a BS, we then realize that the ship was not meant to be a BS, but something between a BS and a Cruiser. A Battlecruiser. With a firepower similar to a battleship, but with the agility near of that of a cruiser.
That is why i think that the ship is way overpowered. As of now, it's a noob cannon, like the RH bomber was once, or the Huegenot. Nothing more. Getting one of those with stock weaponry and knowing how to dodge wins the battle. Even against a BS which is 1000mill more expensive due to armor and weapons upgrade.

(Really, I speak terrible English, so please, tell me if I make mistakes. I'd like to improve it a bit )
Korrd I think 8 turrets would be a bit harsh maby try it out with 10 first and then 8 if it is still to powerful.
Also the fact two of the turrets can't fire forwards is not that bit a problem as battleships are generaly ment to hit things side on to maxamise there firepower and not be flown like a fighter and take head on runs at things.

I've been mildly miffed by one-shot weapons since their implementation, oh so long ago. I remember the days when fights were a matter of who could aim better, rather than who could aim a single shot. - Virus
I disagree, The Osiris has to little firepower I think, 10 turrets that fire forward? Thats not going to cut it going up against bigger Battleships. And people...when are you gona realize there are better guns that Infernos and BR's....I was fighting someon in my BHG BS and he was in an Outcast Drednaught, I had 3 Infernos and 3 BR's, The rest were Secondary. On the other hand he has ALL PRIMARY turrets and he killed me! Reason being is that faster firing turrets mean more acuracy meaning more damge in lsesser amount of time..its common sense.
