Senor Beast,
I do not speak for the Benitez, nor Corsairs in general and I certainly don't speak for the Council bit I will say this.
If you trade in our space, there are certain niceties you have to adhere to. Doing business in Corsair space incurs costs. Our income tax system is different to Liberty, Bretonia, Rheinland or any of the other houses.
If you work in Corsair space, you may have to pay Corsair taxes. You may not. Corsairs don't dislike Junkers. It's no different for any other so why do you think your any different?
With regard to our 'trinkets', if you didn't want them, you wouldn't pay such high prices for them.
Lets be honest, we both know what you do with them and if any of the house governments could prove it was you importing them to their worlds, you'd be as popular as....as we are.
You have the contacts on those worlds where we are not welcome. As such, in those places, you can command higher prices for 'your' goods.
We are not 'country bumpkins' or 'village idiots' who don't realize the value of our goods on places like Manhatten. Don't treat us such.

You Corsairs state we must pay a tax in "your" space, but several of your fighter wing's have been robbing..er..I meen taxing junker's in junker space, and in neutral space. I would have no problem paying in "your" space, but the next time a corsair demand's tax,or cargo from a junker outside corsair space? well just keep running from your enemies cause all junker bases will be closed to you,and for the right price? we may even help your enemies. Space is vast and empty, and ship's disappear all the time.
We of the junktown may not always agree with Congress, but we will support them against a common enemy if it come's down to it. Junker's always back other junkers.
I am sorry, are those words of official Junker representative of Trafaglar base?
Unless I have been promoted in the past... five minutes, no. I speak for myself on this matter. Besides, the Congress handed the local matters to the Trafalgar Junkers, whom I do not know the reaction to this situation.

Kind regards,
Chico Benitez.
As I said before, I have no problems in paying taxes, nor have any dislike for the Corsairs, beyond that which has happened as of late. The other governments make me pay them too. What I do have a problem with is when certain members of your lively group go on unregulated taxation sprees. And even then, if I knew that the money was going to where it was needed, say, feeding and clothing the poor, getting some higher up cracked up on Synthetic Marijuana or something, I wouldn't get mad. As the situation stands now , all I see is a bunch of greedy pirates (excuse the term, I have observed you don't quite fancy it) filling their pockets with our money, effectively hurting our trade routes and consequentially, your coffers as well.
In regards to the Artifacts, we pay high prices for them and sell them for even higher. My pockets get full, your pockets get full, everyone is happy. Apparently not.
I have great respect for the Corsairs, at least the ones level-headed and rational enough to think things thoroughly. To be thought to think less of your people for holding a rational discussion leaves me a bit hurt.
' Wrote:I am sorry Mr Beast, I think you have the whole issue turned around, the Corsairs are not customers for the Junkers, you Junkers are costumers of the Corsairs. You dont want to import Artifacts? Thats fine, I am quite certain the Rogues would love to take over the Artifact market in Liberty, in fact they have said it in the past. We dont need you Junkers, but if you want to do more that pick scrap metal out of space and move Cardimine you need us. Oh yes, we know you move Cardimine for the Outcasts,
Now you can either shut, or lose out on one of your most lucrative commodities to others. There are many groups would love to increase their presence in the artifact market. So, if you dont like how you are treated in our space, get the hell out.
Elder Miguel Sephardi
So, when you use our bases to repair your ships, to hide from the police when you are overwhelmed, to sell your products, we are your clients? I suggest you take a better look at the situation, Mr Sephardi. Our relationship is symbiotic. We both have something to gain from working with each other.
Artifacts may be a good portion of the black market, but it is foolish of you to believe that we "need" you. We deal in much beyond your trinkets. Counterfeit Software, Synthetic Marijuana, Human Organs to name a few. And yes, we do move Cardamine. It is no secret to anyone. As I said before, we allow everyone in our bases and every commodity in our markets. It would be foolish to turn away good profit. If you don't like the way we do business in our space and, in your own words, "get the hell out".
I have yet to meet a Corsair with such willingness to cripple the already strained economy of his own people. Truly you are one of said people whose mentality is set in stone.
I have said my piece. I will not check this channel again. I see no point in doing so.

Hola amigos! Strange to hear about taxes being charged since from my experience this has not been the case. I will admit that previous taxation did drive me to pursue my business elsewhere but recently that just hasn't been the case. Fact is you boys use the scrap metal we deliver to build your ships that provide the security. So just by us bringing you the scrap we are indeed helping you fellas keep up security measures. In turn ya'll provide some quite nice trinkets that some markets pay generously for. We Junkers do business with a lot of different folks because that's what we do. Sure there is some business done with some factions that may not be to your liking. Still seems like a self destructive method to tax the very people that are helping you and your security. No more metal means no more ships which means it could lead to larger problems in the future. Now as I have a great deal of respect for the Corsairs and if you do not want us to trade in your system. Then I will respect your wishes and take my scrap elsewhere.
Just to make clear, Junkers hold no more immunity from piracy of the Corsairs then the Zoners do. The way it works with the Zoners is if you have made yourself know to the Corsairs as a freind, you get a pass, otherwise you dont. If you dont like it, find somewhere else to buy your artifacts and Human Organs, and somewhere else to sell your scrap. And thats what it is, scrap. We get high temperture alloys from the Hogosha for much less than we pay for your scrap. Have fun. We dont need the Junkers, we dont need your bases, and we dont need your cardi haulers.
I am sorry, but all 100% of Junkers that monitor this channel should be interested in Corsairs and exports of Corsairs. It is no secret that Junkers cooperate with Outcasts as well, and that's not my problem or will ever be. Those Junkers cooperating with others than Corsairs and voicing their opinion here can do two things only: One. Endanger Junker - Corsair relationships like Mr. Beast actively is trying to do.
Two. Risk of being imprisoned and enduring faiths worse than death.
Now we've removed them from this discussion let's continue.
corsairs plundering outside their space should receive same treatment as any pirates do. Junker if you are outnumbered, bow down and save your life. If a Corsair gets pirated outside his space I would tell him the same thing. Except I would laugh at him as well.
Continuing from this it is vital to keep in mind that Junkers do depend on our exports as well, much more than we depend on theirs, since we get plenty of supplies from Kusari side. Junkers have not been zealous to improve this, or to harm it, so we like this what we have with them. Do not endanger the current relations with the petty bickering.
our codex and our laws are posted for everyone to see. If you keep by those rules you will profit from Corsair empire without being harmed. Thank you
So you don't need us? Do you recall all the food that was delivered to Crete when ya'll needed it? I know alot of Junkers including myself that participated in that endeavor. Anyway your comments seem to be directed to trying to upset or offend the Junkers. Wish there was some way to resolve this diplomatically. Suffice it to say I'd hoped an elder would be more diplomatic or concerned with keeping his house stocked with materials.
Another thing is with the scrap trade increasing the "cardi haulers" amongst Junkers had dramatically decreased. That probably doesn't matter much to you but I thought it was worth mentioning.
I've always been able to do business freely but cannot in good conscience do business where others of my kind are not wanted and made to suffer. As for use of our bases if your not wanting to use them that is your choice. Just hope your making the right one.

Ok, I'll answer for the Junkers officially. No Junker should ever consider himself exempt from piracy unless there has been a specific prior arrangement made with another faction. Saying we sometimes bring you food or ferry goods for you doesn't cut it. As far as I'm concerned, ANY Junker who claims he can't be taxed because he is a Junker should be charged double.
The Junker Congress is a VERY wealthy faction. If you are being taxed so hard that your finances are suffering please report it to an arbiter and we'll see what can be done.
As far as I am concerned this matter is closed and if anymore Junkers want to weigh in on this contact me privately and stop broadcasting our business all over the net.

Thank you Mr Crow, it is good to know some among the Junkers can see clearly.
