' Wrote:As far as I know, Samura is a priority target only to Bretonian characters (except Gaians) and Junkers. And how is that important anyways? Take a look at the Phantoms/Keepers/Xenos. They are a priority target for everyone and their mother as well. Does it mean we should stop attacking them now? It looks to me like you have been getting one too many boots to the face for being where you shouldn't and aren't liking it one bit.
The Junkers are filthy rich and influential. We control the majority of the black market. It may not be enough for frontal assaults, and that isn't even our style anyways. We can, however, easily fund the local pirates and engage in guerrilla-style warfare, disrupting trade.
You might add the Blood Dragons and the GC to your list at least.
Looking around at the forums there is just a lot of hatred against Kusari. We might not be inRP priorities for all the according factions, but we certainly are for a lot of players.
And well, I don't see why a Junker in Liberty or Rheinland would care about the situation in Bretonia. Nor can I see the common Junker being part of anything highly organized. Some of them yes, but not all of them.
Furthermore, without a way in there is barely something you can do. And as Kusari in general doesn't like gaijins there's not much for you to do about it.
edit: And about that 'too many boots in the face': 130 hours without someone blowing up my Samura transports. Not counting rule violations that is. I suggest not to imply me things like that.

Levelling complaints against the Admin team for their perceived lack of intelligence, tact, wit or fairness are just plain not nice.
Maybe it's in keeping with the tone this thread was started in, ja?

Right now Junkers are pirating Corp ID players inside of house space.
I suggested that the admin team simply start deleting any Junker ship which violates this part of the ID.
The other admins suggested that, perhaps, Junker players who pirate Corp ID players -inside- of house space did so out of confusion because the ID doesn't specifically say that they can't, only that they can -outside-.
I argued that our playerbase isn't made up of total morons.
Then we all stopped and laughed and laughed.
So the ID is being changed to assist our more challenged members.
If a Junker pirates anyone inside of house space we'll delete everything on every account you have and ban you, then we'll ban the largest person we can who lives near you and tell them it's your fault they're banned.
We'll then uban that person when they're done beating you.
Thanks.
Well. We wont really do that. But we'll treat it like an ID violation. Which means bad things will happen.
I'm really sorry that there is no reason to play a Junker in Disco anymore and that the entire game is broken and pointless now. My prayers go with you.
Ja.
Edit: perhaps I should explain this. It's one thing to introduce a ruling which is pretty broadly interpreted as draconian and wholly unnecessary and is itself an insult to the playerbase. ItKs another thing to present the new ruling in a glib 'oh my yes this is difficult for you poor baby' manner.
Dusty just dangled meat in front of the caves and whether by condoning the ruling and the manner in which it was presented or failing to perform the necessary public relations damage control the admins' apparent unified stance on this has painted them all as targets for counter-derision.
Don't dole it out if you can't take it, is what I'm getting at.
Who would have thought that cargo theft would ever be such a problem? Bring back roaming vigilante bounty hunter battlecruisers I say.
It's obvious to anyone that introducing a change like this will cause annoyance to a great number of people who don't warrant being annoyed and possibly a great number who do.
