Savins cringed as his name was called out over the intercom. He looked at the other constables with a grimace and quickly left for Commander Silsbury's office. The Inspector walked through as the door slide open with a ping.
"Is there something the matter, ma'am?" Adam asked with a small smile. "I can get you some tea or crumpets if you'd like ma'am.. although don't you have a uhh secretaries for that..."
The Commander waved off the comment. "Not now Savins. I receieved an invitation for some noble's dinner party and well.."
The nervous Inspector's face lit up. "Ah! I was invited as well! Who knew that I had the qualifications to join for such an occasion! It must be the charm.. the looks.. the..."
Silsbury's cold stare cut the babbling Inspector's sentence. "Yes, yes.. so as such a 'cultural' and 'sensible' person such as yourself.. what are your thoughts on what I should wear?" she asked.
"I uhh... really don't know... a dress perhaps? Pick a color you like and pick it out? I definately won't be going with this uniform.. something a little more sophisticated." Adam began stuttering.
"I see.. well I'll see what I can do then." Silsbury replied.
"Then I shall see you at this dinner party then ma'am. This should be jolly good!"
The Commander looked at Savins and with that, Adam walked out. After a couple steps, the Inspector heard.
"You'd gosh darn better be there!" the Commander yelled.
