Thats Meta. Best and easiest 3d modeling program for people out there. Even a Cave Man can do it.
Tips/Hints:
-Get used to the Perspectives (Shapes)
-Get use to the create button (You'll need it to close some gaps)
-Use the Extrude/Bevel button (This is your partner Forever!)
-Get used with the Move/Scaling button
-Play with it alot until you got a good understanding of what to do.
Also, when you open the program, make sure the Basic Mode is 'OFF'.
Can't find it?
Go to File>Basic Mode (make sure the check is off)
Now, get to work and practice on it when you got time up your sleeve, Padawan.
yeah nice but see first post... i am looking for a GERMAN one... i've found thousands of english tuts... but no german... and my english isnt good enough to understand the whole eng. tuts... and when i use my translator... it only gives me a lot of Nonsense out of the tut texts
Autodesk Maya is the easiest to model with in my opinion. It is also pretty much the industry standard along with 3DS Max.
I suggest starting with a box and just extrude the faces. Then start again...and again...until you can get a good responce from the community. Use the critique to improve and learn more english!:D

I'll agree with this, if you end up switching to 3ds Max there are a lot of us here who are familiar and able to help. We also have a few Maya users too, I think.
Hmm, despite that just practice. Experiment and have fun.

*raises hand*
I'm studying 3D this year and next so I have pretty much been brainwashed with Maya for the past few months. I think its probably the best out of all of them. You can't hop in and drive it but its easier than 3DS Max in my opinion.
