Roger,
Stuff...
And of course you would have to accept you are a branch or the IMG and are subject to their treaties and arrangments.
More stuff... Hans Richter

We -are- a part of the guild, even if we are a branch-off, we still use their stations and facilities, and thus we -will- respect guild treaties.
I am forwarding the code to this channel to the IMG| and sending them the backlog.
If arrangements had been made with the IMG| we will respect them.
If however, as I strongly suspect, this treaty was made without knowledge of the IMG| and had been negotiated with the OMS alone, consider it null and void.
Yours truly,
Roger Sterling, Director of Foreign Affairs, ICMG

Guten tag Herr Sterling. I have been informed of this, and I think I can clarify the issue a little. The Treat of Omega 7 was signed without including Kruger as a participant, and I headed the opposition on that one.
The IMG Leader Ron Matterson had ended the issue by saying that a seperate treaty could be negotiated between the two organizations, but as of now, the negotiations have not yet taken place.
The Resources of Omega 7 are vast, and instead of fighting with each other, it would do well if our two organizations, as well as your parent body could cooperate and then we could all profit honestly and without too much trouble, Ja?
As I said previously, Kruger minerals was not included in the treaty because it was not a participant in the problems that forced the agreement. If an agreement is needed, then one can be made, however, the IMG does not enter into agreements that are unnecessary.
secondly, The IMG does not acknowledge your claims to having ownership of the silver field.
The Omega Mining Syndicate made the agreement with you because it was profitable for them to do so, and they were focusing on cobalt, the Guild, and It's sub branches, do not focus only on cobalt mining, and are not bound by the agreement you made with them.
Ron matterson.

To all concerning,
It seems my new position was above my head, my inexperience has shown. Most the misunderstanding was on my side alone, I admitt that. I was not on the same page as previously thought. I apologize to Kruger, IMG and the ICMG. I will be offering a letter of resignation to Vorsitzender Weber. I hope that all can look past my mistakes and make things work in Omega 7.
I will direct all future negotiations to Vertriebsleiter Lutz Heidrich.

Dear Kruger and IMG,
I would like to propose something simple.
What If the ICMG, IMG, and Kruger all shared the north fields equally?
The only conditions to this agreement would be that no party gets within 1.5k of the others' miners and that we would band together to fight the corsair mense whenever it rears its ugly head.
I would like to propose that we:
Stay 1.5k away from miners of a different faction.
Defend each-other from corsair aggression.
Share the bounties that Omega 7 has provided us with
I more in-depth disscution can take place afterwords if necessary, but to be able to implement some conditions such as the above would, in my opinion, go a long way to stabilize relations between the IMG as a whole and Kruger. It would foster a peaceful relationship for years to come.
I would like to know if all three parties would find this agreement acceptable.
Yours truly,
Roger Sterling, Director of Foreign Affairs, ICMG

Guten tag Herr Sterling, Herr Matterson. I hope you both realise the fact that Omega 7 is Rhienland Sovereign Territory. It has been claimed by the Government, and since there has been little-to-no opposition about the claim, we can safely say the system belongs to Rhienland, Ja?
Now with that point settled, I am sure you realise the implications. You are aware Rhienland is fighting a war, and with such a situation, it needs all the resources, mineral or otherwise, to fuel it's war machine. The big Corporations of Rhienland deliver, but are you aiding the war effort of Rhienland?
I realise and accept that Kruger cannot work all the fields by itself yet. So we will make a deal with your organization on the following conditions-
That both Organizations will mine on a first come first serve Basis. If Kruger miners are already functioning in the fields, IMG miners will have to wait or find a different field and vice versa.
That you will dedicate a portion, say....Twenty-five percent? of the minerals you have mined to the mineral depositories located all around Rheinland. This is of course, compensation for the loss of capacity by Kruger, we will lose a little of our productivity you understand, with sharing the fields. The Rate at which the minerals will be bought is up to the Rates fixed by the government, I am not the judge of that.
I do not think the Kanzler will be best pleased if there are petty squabbles in what is quite possibly the crown jewel of his nation, and any loss of production. I hope we can both agree to that, Ja?
[color=#000000]
Right. Now we've already conceded half the entire system to the exclusive use of Daumann, Rheinlands primary military contractor. We respected the need for resources on the Rheinland side in doing this. And now you bloody nutters want to tax us as well? Way I see it, what you're asking has -already- been given, and you're just trying to squeeze credits out of us like a common bloody pirate. Keep in mind that the IMG has been steadily supplying your military with a large amount of Niobium, and amounts of Beryllium - resources Kruger NOR Daumann can attain, and vital for your ship production. Don't try to bluff us with military intervention. Will not work.
In the field, we already see Kruger systematically and consistantly focusing on cobalt mining, which suggests Kruger is no longer in agreement with this treaty either. Personally, I do not give a damn. It's a wad of paper which corporates can wipe their collective behinds with. Between miners -of both Kruger and IMG- we have the following unofficial agreement:
- Individual mining bands keep a distance of 2000 meters to keep from interfering with eachother
- The northern resource fields are shared - Either party can mine all the available resources, be it copper, silver or cobalt.
As for pirate attacks, I rarely see Kruger employing any form of security whatsoever. The Westflotte frequently patrols and provides security for IMG and Kruger alike - I've often talked to some of their pilots, they treat IMG and Kruger as equals. Civilians.
If you intend to make different rules, treaties, whatnot. Doesn't matter if the miners among themselves decide to do otherwise. Your corporate behind is not the one being targeted by a corsair gunboat. Ours, on a daily basis, are. In comparison, your wad of paper means nothing.

Very well. The matter of charging a tax on you is not under our jurisdiction at any rate, and we have already agreed to grant you equal mining rights. But, the first come first serve basis will still apply. No shoving each other and causing a mess. Of course, we will defend each other against pirate incursions, and cooperate, but first come first serve will apply.
You do realise the amount required by Rhienland of Kruger is high, quite high. The Tax is a way of compensating for the loss of capacity by our miners due to sharing the fields with you, but since it does not seem possible, I will just like to intimate the authorities in the Military and Reichstag that Kruger will find it difficult to meet the targets and quotas set by the government unless you make appropiate accomodations with this new treaty.
To sum it up-
a) The North fields are shared equally.
b) First come first serve basis applies
c) The two organizations will cooperate against common threats.
Godspeed and good luck. I hope you find this treaty amenable.
What you have outlined, Herr Heidrich, Is acceptable.
As for the matter of taxation, We already pay all applicable taxes that the Rhienland's government feels fit to asses, and supply Rhienland with huge quantities of raw materials, not as much raw cobalt and silver as Kruger perhaps, but more niobium then Kruger could mine in a lifetime, not to mention other things such as gold, which Kruger has no stake in. Your suggestions of taxation to Kruger are unfounded.
The Guild has many members, from almost every corner of charted space, our primary concern is stability, safety, and of course, the continued economic prosperity of those who toil in our ranks. we are not inclined to violence, but we are willing to stand up and fight for our right to make an honest living. You don't need to agree with it, but respecting it will take you far when dealing with the guild.
Ron matterson.
