ok....ok....yes....this is true...
but, the hogosha are all for maintaining things the way they are...
and...GC are growing like crazy.
also....why are the BD allied with the KNF if the BD are the major crime ring?--I would suggest, that they keep crime low...and in house.
they are the mob, and as such, have a certian interest in keeping the status quo...thats my point...also, my info comes from ainu...thanks for this slice of hogosha.
1. I know one who will kill me, when making it a KNF vessel.
2. I have created a new BD Gunboat (before the Togo) by request which is looking to the Togo like father and son.
3. I have flown this BS through Malvada Cloud in cruise speed without problems (resized basic LI Dread hitbox)
KNF BC: It is time for all other modelers. I have done enough. Somewhen i want to play on RP Server.
I will fulfill my contracts and will be here to help other modelers and want to start some other projects.
Additionaly some of my earlier models i will overwork. The Togo was my "graduation work".
I never thought I'd see the day when Zoners would be participating in an Arms Race.
In some ways, it saddens me.
But here's just another take on it. Poorer factions, and those such as the TAZ with relatively peaceful reps, have even older vet members who look at all the shiney new hardware and say "Wow! I'd like to try that!" I'm guilty of it myself. Thud, you offer me a Zoner Destroyer, and I'm gonna have a new Flagship!
Now, said faction leaders have two choices: Either stick with their poor/peaceful agendas and roles, and risk losing members to less restrictive groups, or to divided time and loyalty as they create even more characters to avail themselves of the "pretties"; or, they can allow the limited use of cap ships, and somehow justify their cost and their need, thus allowing their members to have the variety and the shiney toys they want, while keeping them "in the fold".
However, there is also the question of "Quality vs Quantiy". Yes, AoM, Discovery itself is a market commodity, and its success is judged by how many people play. But the Discovery Mod, thanks to the genius of Igiss, and our wonderful ship and system designers, will attract new people whether every faction can field a monster fleet or not. Perhaps in a way, we are fouling our own nests by catering to those who just gotta have that big mutha to "chill in", as SK puts it. Are we looking for the audience and the participants who will value the Mod and the marvelous roleplay above all; or are we just looking for numbers, and doing whatever it takes expansion-wise to suck them in?

Anyway, quit derailing an important thread!:P
If a KSP NPC catches you with cardamine, he'll tell you to jettison your cargo. If a Black Dragon (i.e. Hogosha player faction) catches you with cardamine, we probably won't be so nice (no problem if you're getting stoned with synthetic marijuana).
As for derailing the thread, I'll stop when the lies stop being told about the Hogosha!
@ Mal: Exactly what i have mentioned. You catch people with a nice shiny outfit/design, but you can keep them only, if they feel good. When the content is proving, what the outfit is promising.

did you try the ones near kusari?-(no idea why it would ever be there....way outside its stomping grounds, no?)
and...welcome to the actual game, btw, don't you dare pirate me, it causes you all sorts of suffering.
about what Mal said....
@Mal: you awe and amaze me with your wisdom, and I should fly Sarah more often...
@the rest of you people: this is most of my point...we are adding things that encourage PVP, not RP...new ships, people buy them to kill things....what about...a new system, a new base, a new static object? a new starscape?
new music?...the list goes on for a good long time...but, if you will look around, most of our new bases are copies of other, existing bases...and...sadly, the ones that aren't, often don't look so hot...but...you can't fly a base.

Considering that your information came from a GC base (Ainu Depot), did you really expect GC propaganda to be accurate about the Hogosha?:nono:
Where have you seen that the Black Dragons are allied with KNF? Our post in the Discovery Factions Status thread lists the KNF as friendly and lists no allies for the Black Dragons. Why is KNF listed as friendly? Hogosha and KNF (NPC faction) are neutral to each other, as that part of the NPC diplomacies doesn't take into account the effect of the war with Bretonia. The Black Dragons realize that Bretonian scum (i.e. QCO/QCP) that raid Kusari space are a threat to the Kusari economy, so we have chosen to help the KNF defend Kusari. Look at my first post on page 8 of The Black Dragon Society, A Hogosha Faction proposal thread to see the historical reasons why the Black Dragons are well justified in supporting the Kusari war effort.
' Wrote:Helping in war is effectively an alliance, Juan... but please, take this elsewhere. You're unnecessarily arguing technicalities.
Then the Italian-American Mafia was allied with the U.S. Government during and after World War II. Do you think the U.S. Government admitted that the mob helped them? If they ever admitted that, it was decades later. The Black Dragons can help the KNF defeat mutual enemies without an official alliance.
As for being off-topic, I didn't start this -- Unselie did and you've continued it, too.
