"Greetings to whomever may take the time to go over this troublesome piece of paperwork.
First off, I believe the first question that may come to mind for someone tasked with new members is "Why join us?". As I believe such is the case here, I will proceed with the details.
Since this is probably common for many of the Lane Hackers, I am no different. After finishing my studies and earning a degree in programming and engineering with the help of my not-so-fortunate parents, I joined Ageira at the age of twenty six in order to satisfy my curiosity and work with the great minds I was given example of during my years of university, all but a beautiful dream come true at that time, only to find out it turned into a nightmare in the time it would take one to blink.
I worked across various sectors of Liberty space during my years with Ageira, specialising in electronic engineering, and in extreme cases, warfare, the complexity of my tasks increasing as I advanced every now and then. Five years have passed in this manner as if they were a mere second. As I was lucky enough to come in contact with a few more like-minded individuals, I acquired the corporation's resources necessary for me to start developing something of my own. I will not go into details because, needless to say, I was brutaly interrupted long before coming up with something that would benefit anyone. As I lost my five years of career in a heart-beat and watched close friends turn into scornful mongrels, I realised then that I was not in league with the creame of society for approximately five years, but merely the contrary. Such is the reason of my change of heart, and none of my former "associates" can deny me this.
After I got into the possesion of a ship during my early 'retirement' from work, I left for the New York system, where I scavanged, shot, robbed and salvaged for a living. I came across a man that directed me to where I should actually turn my attention. I arrived on Cochrane Depot and was able to purchase a Dagger Light Fighter with the help of a shaddy individual who then pointed me to yet another direction. As Mactan was my final destination, I was met by a Hacker recruitment officer who was kind and curious enought to give me the benefit of the doubt. From my perspective, I did not dissappoint, nor do I intend to from now on, if and when I will receive a positive reply to this message.
I come now to you, officer, professor, or whatever manner you wish to entitle yourself/yourselves, and request that I be allowed into your organisation, so that I may prove myself useful to someone I hope will not meet me with the same scorn, while making my old employers kneel and wheep for the mistake they so boldly turned their backs on."
