Carnifex Here. It is hard to express my gratitude in words; if you didn’t leak to me the information that they are aware of my wrongdoings, I would probably get caught by the security team of the station. After escaping the station in the shuttle, you prepared for me. After that, I headed to the Silverton Asteroid Field, where I could get them off track.
I decided it was not wise to use the jump gate now as a fugitive, so I headed my way to the well-known jump hole, which leads to the New York System, which can be found in the same asteroid field. The only thing I saw during this time was a few rogue pilots, but they didn’t mind me; they probably had more important things to do. On the other side of the hole, it was a little different. I was immediately attacked by a Xenos Pilot. I have no idea why the pilot was so aggressive towards me, but in the end, it was an unwise decision for it to attack me because I won the fight.
After this, I headed to the vicinity of the Baltimore Shipyard, where I destroyed all of their storage depots and also stole a full cargo of H-Fuel. I am aware that it was not part of my mission, but I was sure it'd be easier to win the appreciation of the rogues if I knocked on their doors with a gift in my ship.
I entered the Badlands to reach this safe haven, as many unlawful calls it, but thanks fully, I didn’t let my awareness down because soon I was in a two-on-one fight against a poor bounty hunters. I call the pilost only poor because they are not only lost against me, but I also handed them over to the Rogues. I don’t doubt the rogues will make them suffer.
After talking with the ship dealer on Buffalo, I was informed by them that they are not selling their well-known freighter on this base, and I have to go to the Pennsylvania System and visit their other base there. I safely traveled through the hazardous area of the Badlands and reached Pennsylvania via a jump gate.
After being in the system, it didn’t take long to reach Niverton, where I did a few missions for the rogues to gather the necessary credits for the freighter. After I successfully purchased the vessel, I decided to go back to New York to reach Texas via the jump hole, which can be found there.
I always wanted to see the Grande Negra from closer. To see what mistake the company made there. But as their scientist, I didn’t have a good reason to go there if they did not order me to do so. Now it’s a different situation; you gave me the order to go there and see it, and I happily accepted this.
When I arrived at the North Dallas Field, I was attacked by a trio of bounty hunters. I am not sure if they were after me or just randomly tried to catch something unlawful, but this time with the new ship, they stood no chance at all. They were very quickly destroyed.
First, I reached the “Dallas Incident Epicentre,” where the jump gate can still be found. The area is highly radioactive, so I didn’t waste much time here but rather went to the Dallas Research Station itself. It is a little spooky to see this place; the ships and the station are still intact, but naturally, no life signature can be found. I am curious if they ever tried to recover the corpses of their workers or don’t care about them at all—probably the latter.
I found a few storage depots close to the base, but sadly, all of them were empty. It is no surprise that someone, since the incident, has ventured here to loot them. I doubt it was the company, but rather some brave freelancer. I am sad that I couldn’t bring to you anything interesting from this field, but luck was not on my side this time.
After this, I decided to move to the California system and then head to the Rogue Base to start the last part of my recruitment mission. I purchased fifty stacks of cardamine cartridges at Alcatraz Depot, which will be later delivered to Montezuma Base in Cortez.
The flight through the California system after this was mostly peaceful, except for encountering another two bounty hunters not long after leaving the Whitney Ice Field. They are not really worth the time, which was wasted on them, but I beamed up their escape pod so later I can sell them to the rogues at Montezuma.
I successfully reached Montezuma without more hiccups and delivered the requested cargo. Now I wait here until you give me further instructions.
