And...I was suppose to lead it.It sorta was my idea to start a squadron, but it never was to make it official...
Zapp, i can't lead, i'm not a leader. I don't have the time, or will.
And i am already (only official) leader of the BSG.
Then, it's settled. Etap will be the leader.

' Wrote:All right, it seem like there's a couple of people who might be interested in roleplaying the LPI. This will be an unofficial squadron of police pilots following the same rules as the NPC faction. If you want to join our cause, feel free to post here!
Current status:
Ongoing discussion. The most important points to be decided are player names, policing rules and diplomacy status.
Faction summary:
Name: Liberty Police, Inc.
ID: Liberty Police ID
Player naming convention: not decided yet
Area of operations: New York except for Zone 21, Colorado, Texas, California
Ships: Patriot, Liberator, possibly Prison Liner
Equipment: Whatever can be bought on lawful Liberty bases or is seen equipped on NPC LPI ships. Graviton shields. Cruise disruptor and at least one shield-busting weapon recommended.
Objectives:
- scanning ships for illegal cargo,
- defending allied ships from outlaws,
- preventing and resolving all hostilities near allied bases, trade lanes and jump gates,
- enforcing the server rules in an RP manner.
Rules:
- To do. This will concern how are we to punish people who break law, what the actual law is, our rules of engagement and so on. Suggestions are welcome.
Diplomacy: Allies: (Offer as much help as possible.)
Liberty Navy, LSF, SA Friendly: (Be nice and friendly. Protect in most circumstances. All Liberty corporations should be here.)
Ageira, Cryer, DSE, Interspace, Synth Foods, Universal Neutral: (No special attention.)
ALG, Angels, BHG, Bowex, CR, DW, IND, JG, Kishiro, Mandalores, Planetform, *QCO, *QCP, RepEx, Republican, Samura, *SF, Spa and Cruise, TAZ, UKMG Suspicious: (Be careful. Still protect from unlawfuls though.)
AW, Junkers, *RM Not welcome: (These factions are not welcome in Liberty. All ships should be escorted to the nearest jump gate out of Liberty space. Engage if they do not comply. Unlawful factions that are not openly hostile to Liberty should go here.)
BD, Gaians, Mollys, NLH, NovaPG, SU, UOG Hostile: (Kill on Sight. These are the enemies of Liberty and should not be left to escape. Only factions openly hostile to Liberty should go here.)
101st, Benitez, BLS, Bs, Corsairs, HF, Keepers, LDDLG, LH, Nomads, Order, Outcasts, Phantom, RHA, Rogues, RoS, SCRA, TBH, [W], Xenos
* marks a militant faction whose presence in Liberty space should always be questioned. Only allow entry if they have a good reason to be here, otherwise treat them as not welcome. Military and/or Police escort throughout the duration of presence in Liberty space is recommended.
Yes, i would edit it a bit.
First, make NPC diplomacy separate from the PC diplomacy.
For instance, look at this line :
You have BLS, 101st, Ros and Outcasts.
Get my point?
Make it separate, like this :
NPC diplomacy -
Friendly - Liberty Navy, LSF
Neutral - All others
Hostile - Outcasts, Rogues, Xenos, Lane Hackers
And then in the PC diplomacy put every faction.
And as i said, all criminals except Outcasts, Rogues, Xenos and Hackers should be unfriendly.
Even Unioners to unfriendly, not Hostile.
All non criminals that act outside of the Liberty space to Neutral.
All Liberty corporations to friendly.
All Liberty lawfuls to allied.
All Terrorists to Hostile - that means the Order as well. We think of them as terrorists.
And if i recall, NovaPG are now Terrorists as well. They can come to Liberty to attack if they like.
So, NovaPG to hostile as well.
I believe that is the easiest way to make a diplomacy, and nothing is wrong with it.
And then, make a line that says :
All independents will be treated by their ID and our NPC diplomacy.
Which means, if someone is an independent Outcast, he will be shot at, nevertheless he's not RoS, or 101st.
Hope i helped:)

Well, since I have no way of getting funds for a Liberator (trader's broke, Bs| tagged and I'm not big on trading to begin with), I'll start with a Patriot and work my way up to the Liberator. Sounds like a challenge for me.
I like the standard issue equipment we have thus far. Though I'm used to having Nomad/Enhanced Thrusters this'll make me use my thruster less. And besides it's a LF, won't need sustained speed for long.
Though later on, the standard shield for a Liberator might be useless - and we might need the Class 8 shield you can buy for it (Adv Aegis Graviton Shield if I'm not mistaken). Now I just need a name...
Bad news people. Apparently the cap'n of the Doughnut Shop was quite intoxicated at the time, and accidentally bought MK II armor upgrades, instead of III....
I don't ask for NPC diplomacy to be there at all.
It just looks silly to be written in our diplomacy something like this :
Hostile : RoS, 101st, Outcasts, TBH, Benitez, Corsairs
Because, RoS are Outcasts, and TBH are Corsairs.
Then put only Corsairs or Outcasts, not both clan names and faction names.
Edit :
@Zapp - Well, how many?
We will use those then.

No problem, we will use Armor upgrade II then. On Patriots.

@chopper; Apologies, what I meant is eliminating player factions from the list, and having all NPC factions listed, making things a lot simpler, since NPC factions don't spring up, but PC factions do.
