I would like to see you in a Patriot first, and later we can talk about the Liberator and the rest.
Yeah, I think I'm going to hop on board. Though I can't be on FL till late tomorrow, so I'll worry bout the set up then. After thinking it over, the patriot would probably be more fun to pilot. More risk and skill involved... and its not like we will be a PVP faction anyways.
Here's a quick question. Lets say a war with Reinland starts up, what would the LPIs role be? Likely just taking over all the policing duties while the LSF and Navy are off at war I assume?
Iâll carry this flag
To the grave if I must
Because itâs flag that I love
And a flag that I trust
Okay, I was just out doing a couple patrols...and I have to say, this has to be the most fun I've had on Discovery in a while, RPing a disgruntled police officer...

Yes, we would take over ALL safeguarding in Liberty.
And, if it would come to that, that Rheinland comes to the Liberty to invade, trough Texas, we would most certainly help in defending Liberty space.
We just had 3 Patriots in space. And it was very very fun.
Much different then usual flying and butt-kicking everything that moves.
I would like everyone who wants to jump in Liberator right away, to reconsider using a Patriot for a while.
And yes, we are not, and we will not be a PVP faction.
@Prateyre - Yes, i thought of that too, but i don't know if that is allowed to do.
Because, that Diplomacy reference guide says we have to put each faction in one of 3 stances.
Not sure though, if it is possible however, i would gladly make only NPC diplomacy.

Soooo.... the diplomacy thing is in the very first post of this thread together with all other important things. I've decided to separate the NPC factions from the diplomacy part (I'll work on it in a second) and remove the NPC altogether since everybody knows that we're allied to the navy and lsf and hostile towards pirates and terrorists. And that Junkers are neutral but well known smugglers. If anybody thinks that the npc diplomacy should be there then I will make a separate section for it.
I will also start putting active players in there plus add the ship loadouts.
The reference guide is purely that. You just need to do what the BLS does, logically list which player faction, based on NPC affiliation will fit which stance. Other than that, you can do whatever you want with it. The reason being, player factions change, but NPC factions hardly ever get taken out or in, so you have a virtually permanent record.
I put in the NPC diplomacy anyway -- only factions I could quickly think of though so please remind of those I forgot about.
Regarding the PC diplomacy, I put all those who claim to be kos / hostile towards liberty police on the hostile list. I don't think they can be moved to any better status group if they have orders to kill our officers on sight. If you want any individual faction moved, write its name.
Also are you guys sure about the default shields? Not even the NPC policedudes use those, I think that we need something better. I wouldn't even be against class 3 shield for the Patriot (not sure about the Liberator, I've never flown it, but the armor upgrade Mk VIII sounds like an overkill, especially compared to the crappy class 6 shield).
