I hate Cygwin right now... I just want to list some search results, then sort in order of size....
All I need to do, is show a file/s size and only ones modified in January... Thats all! But nooo when I use grep -e the program does nothing and accepts no more inputs! If I have to cd to get back into the directory once more I WILL be breaking something, and I'm using a glass desk!
Using ls -s -S, that is fine, it works, but piping grep together or vice versa makes my Cygwin spas out like Clarkson. Lots of noise and flailing.
Did you know that the Cygwin I got doesn't even come with GCC?
I was relatively displeased to learn this.
