It fits the category of 'kamikaze ships'.

Meaning: it dishes out a lot of hurt. then it dies. it -always- dies. and gets targetted first usually.

Get the Berg instead. lower damage output, but more at the same time. see below

Fafnir: short lifespan- lotsa damage
Bergelmir: long lifespan - medium damage

the 2nd option is better. as the Berg lives longer, it can deal more overall damage at the end of the day. and even make it back home if you're lucky.
