Just to be clear, for anyone reading this, when the forum staff wants to get in touch with someone, we do it by PM on the forums. We should not have to chase people down on skype or ventrillo or Teamspeak or steam or anything else. There are a few different reasons for that, I dont really need to get into them, just to say it's not arbitrary.
To expand on what Zelot said; Full or closed, it is your responsibility to make sure the moderators and admins can contact you. If there is something we need to send you, such as a forum warning, and your PM box is full or closed, we will log the warning in our own section, which we will consider as you having received a warning, whether it was delivered or not. As such, it is in your own best interest to keep your PM box open and cleaned, or you may not receive important information, such as warnings, which will result in you earning yourself harsher punishment for continuing behavior. This can be avoided.
Mods and Admins will most often not use any other form of communication.
If I recall correctly there is a way to enable forum PMs from certain member groups to always go through. Not sure if that's just for global admins though.

Yeah, I think that'd be one of the "community guardian" level things.
My inbox isn't closed, so unless you plan on expanding my inbox, I'm afraid that you're just flat out of luck. However... I've reserved a special place in that pit just for your concerns, so go right ahead and send your thoughts.
I really must say though that going crazy about somebody having a full inbox is new, and it carries the stench of selective treatment... perhaps I harmed your feelings a tad too much? No matter...
