If we were limited to one character, fine. But since that sort of screenshot could have been taken on the player's AFA, Corsair, or LSF, it's kinda pointless imo.

Good point.
Also, lets think of Alaska smugglers. Should Navy screen all player names them and claim that scanners/stations etc. spotted them? No. They must catch them.
And will you now start using TLAGSNET as source of proof against smugglers then?
What next?..
Just catch them red handed, and not using remote ways.
Zelot, are you Edge|EA? If not, perhaps we should, you know, leave it to the two persons involved? If EDGE|EA feels this is unfair, let him say.
1) It's not like posts cannot be deleted.
2) This might make nice RP for somebody
3) It was RPed well, and is believable, in -this- case
EDIT: plus it's not like EDGE|EA can't easily RP his way out of this
I still don't get why people make a fuzz about someone in a tagged level 20 CSV traveling through a guard system to set up a character. I buy equipment for my chars in 'strangers' guard systems all the time because frankly, I can't be arsed to travel lets say from Coronado to O-74 to buy a bloody nuke dropper, because the only publically availiable base that sells high end generic equipment doesn't sell it.
I want to play the game, not travel from A - to B- for ages just to satisfy non-existant roleplay (setting up a ship is, in most cases, not roleplay, even if its tagged).
If I'd treat tagged CSVs as what the tag says, I'd ragged up a nice number of l33t kills by now.
In this particular case? It is correct that a guard system has sensors and NPCs. The NPCs failed to kill the intruder, the intruder got away, RP satisfied.
If you want to catch said person, log onb a BPA ship and go catch him.
Again, if I'd set everyone I see using Duesseldorf and Saar as a shortcut for smuggling on the playerlist on some Unioner/LWB kos list, I'd certainly be a very busy person.
This is just another case of people getting mad at someone using pixels in an imaginary solar system in a space boat pewpew game that doesn't even 'belong to them'.
Edit: I can't see |EA having anything to do with this.
