A man in that appeared to be in his early 30's entered the bar puffing on a cigar. He wore a duster coat and dark shirt underneath that with simple jeans and sneakers. His eyes appeared to be dark and mysterious. He didn't make eye contact with anyone in the bar, including the 'tender. He simply looked to the bar table and ordered his drink: a traditional Jack and Coke.
He kept his head down and the collar on his cloak pulled up so that only the middle of his head and up were visible. His eyes showed a hint of a blue glow but no one looked directly at him. He sipped his drink and continued to stare at the bar.
"Troubles?" the 'tender asked.
"None that concern you or this bar. I won't be any trouble, 'tender. I simply needed a drink after the events of today. It's not every day you come back from the dead." the man replied.
"Aye. I can see you had a bad day. I'll leave ya be then."
The man reached out and gently caught the 'tender's shirt."Wait." said the man. The 'tender turned to look at the patron."Can you tell me where to locate some people? People from the old group Children of Conviction that used to operate out of this station?"
The bartender scoffed."Son, that group has long been absent from Sirius. Last I heard their leader died in a battle with an AI ship somewhere in the Omicrons. Though, that's just speculation and rumor...the rest of the group sort of just moved on. Filtered into society, died off, disappeared, etc."
The man hummed to himself."Thanks 'tender."he said and placed a tip on the counter. The bartender grabbed the tip, nodded, and went back to his duties.
"Where the hell are you guys?"The man said to himself quietly. His eyes gradually beginning to dimly glow a blue color."...and why are none of you answering my comms?"
The man casually looked around the bar from behind his collar at the other patrons, seeing if anyone else might know the whereabouts of his lost comrades.
