Dato took a few steps to his right, glancing at the fligh suit.
'Pilots of the Bretonian Armed Forces and related ones. Annihilate as many as your bloodlust may allow yourself, no matter if they're part of the primary fleet or mere cadets. You have got the ship and the weapons, so the message should be quite clear for them whenever they spot you. Leeds, Dublin, Newcastle, Edinburgh, New London, Cambridge, Manchester and... Omega 3. Those would be your hunting grounds. '
"So now you have an enraged wild dog... and you've decided to throw him at your enemies... Who am I to argue?"
He muttered in a cold voice, and then continued as he walked to the desk in the corner and opened the med-kit on it, and said as he started bandaging his left wrist without looking at Dato.
"I won't argue... Just set up a secured channel on the net so I wouldn't need to fly all the way back to Kusari each time I want to let you know I haven't cut the other wrist yet."
He ended his sentence with a dark chuckle and continued with the med-kit, waiting to see if Dato had anything to add.
'An enraged dog would most likely perish before slaughtering its preys. I don't think you would fit in such description.'
The shogun opened the door of the room, standing with his back to Saerieve.
'The Ninjato should be ready to depart from Kyoto soon. I would want to test that ship before passing it to the first Roju who proves to deserve flying it. Take that flying suit before it rots and claim your last payment here in Kusari. You have six hours to move to Kyoto in case you wish so.'
Walking toward the other door in the room - apparently the bathroom -, Saerieve paused and threw a glance at the shogun in the doorway, then said.
"I need to wash up for now... and there's no 'last' payment... at least not yet."
And entering the bathroom, closed the door behind him without waiting for the shogun's reply or reaction. Then undressing and throwing his clothes in a corner, he walked under the hot water flowing from the shower, making sure his wounded wrist won't get wet.
Having his eyes closed and only feeling the flow of hot water on his body, he was only thinking of one thing - That everything he had done in past two months, had only ruined all his efforts before that. He knew if he doesn't try to fix what he had broken, soon he'll have nothing from his hard-earned "keepsakes" of the life he had decided to leave behind.
'To hell with it...'
He muttered to himself as he rushed out of the shower, grabbing a towel on his way out, to catch up with the shogun in Kyushu.
