Ok er, never even knew this existed. O well there are two groups for Maquis NPC faction then.
I would say doing more activity is a matter of having other factions to be active. If you were to stay active more then you may find that other gallic players are more likely to come on.
Anyway know that I have seen this thread I will certianly keep an eye out for them in game.

Of course, more exposure would be better, and we're always looking for members.
It's tricky for me to balance running Ageira, running Maquis, and doing infocard-writing for 4.86 at the same time.
Sorry, but, we were here before you, have been conducting player diplomacy, and so on.
We also fly around in more than just gunboats.

for "le giggles".
C'est droll!
I've known about you guys, I'm fairly certain you were around even before us... but with fewer members and less activity, not to mention forum activity. Do you even have a faction writeup? Please don't be offended if I've failed in my forum-search for it.
Regardless of our differences, I don't see why we can't all join forces under one banner. Since the Maquis, unlike the Council, have no true chain of command, but rather a number of veterans running each base, it would be perfectly fine to have three faction leaders.

Ohh, What about RP, do you ask Council about heavy ships? And what about ID? Rules?... We can using only Fighters, Freighters, Transports, Gunboats.
Heavy ships or caps we can't use.

Yeah, we didn't bother asking the Council for Capital Ships because the Maquis can't use them, both due to lore and ID rules. That was a bit silly now, wasn't it?
Just because we can fly Gunboats doesn't mean we have to fly them all the time. In fact, there are plenty of situations where fighters, such as the Agama, are more useful than a Gunboat.
It's all about balance. Gunboat piracy is quite boring. Freighter pirating, on the other hand, is buckets of fun in my opinion.
While the Maquis would have a number of Gunboats throughout their fleet, they would be fewer than the other ships. The Maquis don't have the resources necessary to maintain a larger number of big ships, and often smaller ships are better for stealth purposes too.
My offer still stands for our factions to join together.
