The time is upon us again.. in a few weeks, the Annual Festival, complete with the popular Dung Sculpture Competition, will be upon us again. Tickets are now on sale from any authorized TAZ Vessel!
Of, Course, any Registered Zoner vessel will receive a complimentary "All-Event" ticket, as honorary "Security".
Now for the bad news. The operating cost of the Festival has risen. For that reason, we have had to increase the ticket prices. We have also instituted a fee for "Shopping Excursions" on Gran Canaria. By buying a ticket to the Festival, you also receive free shopping priviledges at our fine stores, shops, and weapons dealers. (Regular commodities, like our fine deuterium, are exempt.)
So, loyal fans and occasional shoppers.. the Cost of attendance is now One Million Credits. Remember, this entitles you to attend the Harvest Festival, other Gran Canaria events, and to shop our great bargains.
If you don't care to attend the Festival, but just wish to dock and browse, the cost is still One Million credits. Sorry, but we have to maintain the excellence of our events somehow.

Huzzah!
I'm pleased to report that Festival ticket sales (..and "in-kind' transactions..) has been brisk!
Thanks to all who have ponied up for Festival seats and Shopping Excursions! I'll attempt to keep an updated list here, for the benefit of our Security personnel.
Unfortunately, the little tent city that sprang up on the outskirts of Port Canaria is still refusing to contribute. In fact, they've threatened to disrupt the Festival. I offerred "KiLLer" of the recalcitrant "HR" group the same 20 Million cred "Group Rate" as other Factions have agreed to, but they have so far demurred. Wet blankets! Due to this decidely unfestive attitude, their Group Pass will cost them 50 Million.
At any rate, here are the attendees so far, and thanks again for supporting the Harvest Festival!
Complimentary "Festival Security" Passes:
The Mandalorians
Darkwing
Vic Chonody
Paid Group Passes: (20 Million Credits, good all season long!)
Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army (SCRA)
Luthor Corp. (LC)
Colonial Remnant (=CR=)
Queen Carina's Royal Forces (QCRF)
Artisan Farmer's Alliance (AFA)
Kings of Fighters (KoF)
And Special thanks to the NEW RepEx for being a Corporate Sponsor to the tune of 50 Million! (See Harvest Festival News!)
Look how clean and shiney our Ticket Office has become. Thanks, Office Angels!
Just a reminder, Festival Season passes will only be available through tomorrow at 2400UT, so that our valued employees and members can attend the Festival and the Gala on Saturday at 2200UT.
Your generous contributions will allow us to replace the thatched roof on the Dung Sculpture Pavillion with actual wooden shingles for next year's contest. (It rained last night, and some of the sculptures got a bit soggy...)
The Committee has also voted to provide a Grant to rebuild the deLuna Memorial Plaza, on an island in the middle of that big lake Reggie reluctantly created at my direction. It was for "the cause".
Replacement obelisks from the Goddess Geode will be provided free of charge by the TAZ. The danger of Vortexual misuse at the site will be closely monitored by the TAZ, as the Veranda Incognita will also be reconstructed on the island, sans the K.G. Plantation, which will be moved to biodomes at Peublo Bonito Station in Baffin. (The Gold must be roll'd.)
I am inbound with all the desert's for the banquet and i have some Rheinland guests.
I hope everybody will be there, hope to see everyone at the Ferris wheel or in orbit
"War. War never changes. Since the dawn of human kind, when our ancestors first discovered the killing power of rock and bone, blood has been spilled in the name of everything, from God to justice to simple, psychotic rage."
The Winner of the Sirius Open Division, Dung Sculpture Competition, is... tada... Xing! Contact Mal or Reggie ingame or Mal by PMs to arrange pickup of your 20 Million Cred Scholarship, mate.
Thank you all for your gracious support of this year's Harvest Festival. Port Canaria and the Zoners of Sirius thank you!
