No, but there is a emulator and Unix/Linux Windows compatibility layer called Wine that allows you to run programs written for Windows under Unix-based operating systems.
EDIT: As for your problem, I vaguely remember coming over a solution/installation guide with Discovery and multiplayer when I was planning on making a guide for Disco under Ubuntu a few months back when I tried to get it running on one of my laptops. I'll have a look and see if I can't find it again...
EDIT2: Eh, nevermind, I guess you already have tried this from your post in a previous thread about this in July sometime that I found... Here's my post though, have a look at the last link:
Both of those should be good starting points. I'm going to personally try to get Disco running on my Knoppix netbook some time in the future, so I'll probably write up a noob-friendly guide for that under Ubuntu when I'm done and I know how to do it if you don't manage to get it running yourself.
EDIT3: Nevermind, looks like you tried that too. *facepalm*
I'm pretty much out of good ideas if none of those guides help...

I've tried many, many times with multiple different guides. This has been done by some people (an anonymous user, Fabian Thoma), but I've never managed to get it to work.
@Marburg: I don't think you understand what this thread is about.
Edit: Apparently, installing the GLS Workaround, then adding dplayx.dll, dpnet.dll, dpnhpast.dll and dpwsockx.dll to your overrides config (native or builtin?) fixes MP.

this is definitely a Wine/directplay issue
Most certainly, yes it is... I actually got it working once using the direct play workaround, but that was years ago, a version of wine long lost. Definitely pre-1.0. It seems there was a regression somewhere along the line. PROOF.
