19/04/819 - Conflict between Interspace Shipping and the Rheinlandic Bundestag has led to widespread financial panic within Rheinland. The knock-on effects include wildly fluctuating commodity prices and unstable stock markets. Until the crisis has been resolved, Bowex is re-routing its fleets to more profitable climes. Management suggests routing ore stockpiles from King's Cross towards Liberty instead of the ailing Rheinland. Full details can be found here.

07/07/818 - In a daring move, a duo of Bowex ships infiltrated the Munich system, and deposited the interior of Scarborough Shipyard's septic tank in orbit of Planet Nuremberg. This is said to have irritated the local residents, who have had to contract ALG Waste Disposal to remove the mess. Both ships returned to Bretonia safely. More information can be found here.

29/06/818 - After sponsoring pirates to attempt murder against a Bowex employee, Rheinland made a show of choosing a side in the Tau war, as the RFP imposed unreasonable and ridiculous fines on the Bowex corporation. Negotiations failed, and the Snowdown jump gate was sealed, pending further discussion on Rheinland's hostility by Parliament. Rheinland used this as a pretext for war, and invaded the system.
