I have just finished speaking to one of your employees, a Mr. Leeson with regards to the purchase of one of your fine Shetland Supertransport class vessels. I was informed that the shipwrights at Scarborough station are in need of a rather large amount of Iridium. This is something that we of Omicron Supply Industries can get out to you.
I was informed by Mr. Leeson that the first step to acquiring the right to fly one of your master craftworks would be to provide you with supplies, he specified Iridium however that is open to negotiation. Would you please provide me with a rough estimate of the supplies that you would like as a start to negotiations?

I'm just chiming in to let you know that this message has been spotted, and is being put before the board. They've a lot of important business to take care of at the moment, so it may take a few days for consensus to be reached and a decision made.
They're probably going to ask for a levy of cargo (the Iridium) and an administrative fee. This fee will cover some of the construction, and the paperwork relating to the transfer of ownership to a foreign business. This is usually between 4 and 10 million credits.
I'll be in touch with the Board's verdict shortly. Until then, I suggest you look into bulk ordering a significant amount of Iridium and prepping it for transport. We will not accept sub-standard goods, and expect nothing less than top quality produce from you.
To: Mr James Church, OSI. From: Representative Tobias Deary, Bowex. RE: Terms and conditions.
Good day to you sir. As a customer relations representative, I have been elected to handle your case at the behest of the Board of Directors. By a slim majority, the Board have seen fit to approve your request for a single Shetland super-transport. There are, however, terms and conditions by which you must abide before such a transaction may be considered legitimate.
The Shetland in question shall never be used to trade with the forces of Kusari. These are catagoried as; the KNF, the KSP, Samura, Kishiro, the Farmers Alliance, the Hogsha. Trade constitutes as the import or export of goods from their holdings or persons. Failure to abide by this term will result in the legal seizure and confiscation of the ship in question.
The ship's official annual service (MOT certificate examination) will always be conducted at Scarborough Shipyard, in the Newcastle system. Standard maintenance and repairs may be obtained anywhere.
An administrative fee of $5,000,000 will be transferred to the electronic accounts of the Bowex)Victoria.I; this covers the commercial and tax related charges relating to the transfer of ownership of a Bretonian super-transport to a foreign organisation.
200,000 units of high quality, industrial grade Iridium are to be delivered to Scarborough Shipyard, in the Newcastle system. Proof of delivery can be appended to this comm channel.
Should you wish to query any of these terms, or propose a counter-offer, the Board will be notified of your reply. The Shetland itself will become available to you once you have ratified and signed clauses 1 and 2, and completed clauses 3 and 4.
A pleasure doing business, sir.
Sincerely,
-Tobias Deary.
I would like to thank you for your quick reply and to assure you that we will deliver the Iridium with all haste. Assuming that all goes well on this deal perhaps we may be able to do business again in future.

The Board is pleased with your swift compliance with clauses 1 and 2. They will keep this channel open in order to monitor the progress of clauses 3 and 4. Mr Peterson in particular has expressed his enthusiasm at the thought of the steady supply of Iridium you will shortly be providing.
I hope all our further business can be concluded so smoothly.
I am posting my first set of shipments of Iridium, and also informing you that several captains of OSI are assisting me in this endeavor and so I am opening this communications channel, all shipments will be posted with the following template

"I, uh. Right now the office is in utter turmoil. We've just acquired a new acting-DO, who is rather, ah, well... Keen and efficient. They're calling him Ironfist on account of his literally, well, iron fist. He lost his original hand in a Molly ambush you see. In any case, he's chasing up all of our outstanding contracts and bellowing at each's supervising clerk until things start to happen. It's all rather disorientating."
<div align="right]"What do you mean you lost the manifest! Right, if I find it before you do, I'll have your head!"
"In any case, we're calling for a progress check on your deliveries. Mr Cromwell says he'll also want to look at the contract you signed, and perhaps amend a clause or two that he says our legal team slipped up on. He really is extremely keen. Don't keep us waiting with that progress report. Please.
<div align="right]"You! What on earth do you think you're doing?! Get back here and refile that report in triplica-"
I am sorry. My vessels have recently been grounded with a technical error that is messing up my drone system. They should be operable within three days from the date of transmission. Unfortunately we have not been able to make more deliveries as most of our captains have been busy with an unexpected workload dump from one of our other more frequent contractors. You have my assurance that the rest of the iridium will be delivered within the month.
Also with regards to changing the contract. I had assumed that once the contract had been signed and agreed upon by both parties then it was legally binding. I had agreed to deliver 200,000 standard cargo units of iridium, me and my fellow captains. For use of one Shetland super-transport to be usable by me and by other captains hinging on them signing exactly the same contract that I had signed.
May I request to know what has brought about this desire to review the terms of the contract? As I am aware we have acted in good faith delivering these shipments and the only problem that has been presented so far is a technical glitch temporarily interrupting shipments.
Respectfully, James Church.
// ISP says I should have my lag problems resolved by this Wednesday. Sorry bout the inconvenience. All I can do is forum and skypelance.

To: Mr James Church, OSI. From: Representative Tobias Deary, Bowex. RE: Contract.
Mr Cromwell wished to ammend aspects of clause 1. A clause 1.5, so to speak. The cause of this is some rather... unsavoury information that has surfaced regarding your company. It contains proof of OSI's, shall we say, "dealings" with some of Sirius' more repulsive sorts. The images would of course cause great embarrassment for your Directors should they be released to the Bretonian government. Perhaps rather intense legal repercussions too.
Of course, it is not our intention to release this cache. Bowex would much rather work with your company than against it. For that to happen, we need to be able to trust you all. An amended contract would go some way as to reassuring us, as an act of good faith. It would go some way as to ensuring that these controversial files were misfiled, too - buried. Perhaps sent down to the archives of the Leeds Bureau of Urban Agriculture, instead of the Foreign Office? Just for context, the LBUA was closed three hundred years ago. It was a ludicrous idea, really.
Here is the proposed amendment to clause 1.
The Shetland in question shall never be used to trade with elements listed as criminal by the Bretonian legal codex, or by those listed as the enemies of Bretonia by the Bretonian legal codex. Trade constitutes as the import or export of goods from their holdings or persons, or the transaction of money in exchange for services. Failure to abide by this term will result in the legal seizure and confiscation of the ship in question.
All of the other clauses remain untouched. That is the only amendment Mr Cromwell cared to make. We hope to see a resumption of Iridium shipments as soon as your technical issues are resolved. The Board greatly anticipates hearing back from you, sir. They will mark your words most carefully.
