Konbanwa people of Sirius.
I come before you today to announce that due to the guild wishing to reap the benefits of higher prices for their H-Fuel by maintaining a false state of aggression towards the House of Kusari, Samura Heavy Industries has moved to allow access to cheaper H-Fuel to all interested parties.

With the situation imposed upon us by the Gas Miners Guild some time ago, Samura rose the budget towards our operations within our own fields, and are now ready to begin releasing this product to the various groups of Sirius.
Samura H-Fuel is of the highest quality in Sirius and this release will help to keep the various vessels around Sirius still moving despite the greed shown by the Gas Miners Guild to use their influence to attempt to hold Sirius at ransom.

Our doors are now open for all interested groups that wish to travel to Kusari to make purchases as well as those we are already delivering to.
Any party not in a state of war with Kusari is welcome for business.
The aim is to keep Sirius moving and with this product now available, that is what we shall do.

So come one and all to an end of extortion and a re-opening of the markets that are vital to the prosperity of Sirius.

RE: Daylight robbery.

Well, well. Kusari's treachery and back-handed ploys become ever more transparent.
So, you buggers decide you're going to flagrantly breach the GMG's laws within their own space, aid and abet the forces of the Corsairs, then lobby for an open state of war and embargo on their systems... Then have the gall to call them the aggressors? No doubt you've heard of the proverb, "the straw that broke the camel's back"? You lot decided a straw was rather too understated and began to hurl bricks about.

To sum up my train of thoughts so far: Samura instigates a war against the GMG. Samura attempts to cut off Sirius' access to the GMG's fuel markets. Samura boosts funding to its own fuel projects, in an attempt to corner the market. Samura begins to flog their product for ludicrous prices. Ladies and gentlemen, this entire travesty of a war is nothing more than political manipulation on Kusari behalf, in order to best suit Samura' nefarious economic goals.

The GMG have been actively reaching out to various organisations across Sirius to provide fuel contracts, ensuring the product continues to move throughout the colonies. You, on the other hand - through your blockades and embargoes, you've done everything possible to try and block this trade for your own devious ends. In a bare-faced act of industrial imperialism, the House of Kusari and the Samura corporation have persecuted and harassed an independent and free people, entirely for their own gain.

The fuel still flows though. Everywhere except Kusari. You've all rather shot yourself in the foot in that regard. When Samura's tiny stockpiles of the gas are all auctioned off or burned up, there will be a glorious day of ironic justice. The day you're forced to import your commodity from the 'Gaijin' states of Liberty and Rheinland.
"Hold Sirius at ransom", my arse.
~Peterson.

My dear sir, for any of your communication to make sense what so ever it must be based in fact.
Can you show me any proof of Samura instigating a war with the GMG, or any talk at all between Kusari and the Guild before the GMG declared unprovoked hostilities against the Kusari Empire.

I thought not, now I understand your blind hatred for anything Kusari, but come now, please do try and remain in reality instead of this little dream world you have.
All I can find is a message from the Guild which states they would take a planet from Kusari with no negotiation.
The proof of what I say is clear for everyone to see.
You are only spouting hate with no backing in fact.

Unlike the guild, Samura and Kusari have tried time and again to find out what the problem is from the guild, to work out peace and even to find out what their motivation is, I am sorry but they have no interest in talking and are incapable of being a threat against Kusari.
That leaves only one reason to do what they are doing, a reason we are taking care of now.
Cheerio sir.

The contracts in question were terminated because the distributors could not meet their quotas. I urge distributors who believe they can meet their quotas to send contract proposals our way.

Good morning people of Sirius.
What my esteemed colleague here is trying to say is that the distributors were not able to meet demands due to actions instigated and planned by the Guild for this exact purpose.
I applaud their underhanded tactics to break their contracted obligations to their business partners while still walking away with all the upgrades and infrastructure Kishiro Technologies has provided them with, it takes a very intelligent group with extremely low morals to pull this off.

Just a warning for any other corporation that wishes to conduct business with this guild.
Every corporation that has tried so far has been betrayed like this, who knows maybe you will be the first not to be.
Good luck.

A great fine legal officer you are sah.
Perhaps were you to check the laws of Kusari, you would realize that only registered and liscensed Samura and Kishiro transports are allowed to export H-fuel from Kusari.
Tell me, good Mssr. Price, how is it that you suddenly have the production and fleet capacity to handle three House's worth of H-fuel?

Indeed Mr Mcillheney thank you for noticing.
I am well aware of the laws of Kusari as well as my company's ability to discuss matters with the legal enforcers of said laws.
Now was there something you wanted?

Konnichiwa Price-sama.

These are indeed wonderful news. The IMG which I represent had always found extreme difficulties in procuring the so needed fuel because of the House wars and the subsequent regulations. Imagine that we purchase H-fuel which need to travel from the Sigmas to Rheinland then to Bretonia and then upwards to the Taus.

However, I am slightly uncertain with that project. Some months ago, the Emperor has publically stated that Kusari's fuel reserves can last for the next 2 years. But right now with that message we assume that since you are able to export H-fuel to Sirius, you are also able to fully serve the needs of Kusari. And my colleagues wonder what has changed within these months, as we are only aware that Samura has H-fuel mining activities only in Hokkaido system and which are of course very small to cover not only Sirius' but Kusari's fuel demands as well.

Good morning Guld Master.
I am delighted to hear of your company's interest in this fine product and I can understand the difficulty you have experienced due to political limitations forced upon the good people of Sirius due to the GMG's fanatical attacks.
First allow me to clarify a point you have raised, the H-Fuel Kusari uses for government purposes has no link in any way to the fuel we are offering this day.
As such I am not in a position to discuss government contracts with others due to legal contracts Samura may of signed in the past, I am sure you understand.
The first rule of business is never assume anything.

Now if the Independant Miners Guild would like to purchase high grade H-Fuel from Samura then we shall clear this communication and move to more direct bursts between our companies.
Expect a representative of Samura Heavy Industries to contact you shortly.

Benton Price;

It is with great regret that the government of the Republic of Liberty must respectfully decline your offer. It is a sound one with no-doubt competitive pricing and volume arrangements. However, due to the instability of supply, great effort has been made within the Republic to diversify our fuel supply arrangements.

It is hoped by the current administration that our stockpile will last until mainstream introduction of other fuel sources into the Libertonian markets. If this turns out not to be the case, we would hope that this gracious offer by Samura Heavy Industries would still be available. In addition, being a house that favours free-market economics wherever possible, we feel that intervention by our government to subsidise H-fuel supplies would be contrary to our collective ideology.

We very much appreciate your reasonable offer, but the wake of the Kusari-GMG crisis, the Republic is now committed to achieving diversity of supply. This is in order to build the resistance of our nation to supply shocks of commodities critical to the functioning of our economy.

Of course, Libertonian corporate interests may contact you of their own volition to discuss fuel supplies. The government simply feels that returning to H-fuel as a primary fuel source would be counterproductive to the long term interests of the Republic.

With the greatest respect,

- William Hawthorne, Secretary of State for Trade and Economics.
