My question is simply this. I am looking to purchase a Bretonia Royal Cruise Liner and am unsure if it would break any RP Context if it were to be used in a capacity similar to OS&C operations. This ship would not bear any OS&C affiliation, it would be more of a privately owned cruise liner that could be "hired" for a modest sum.
Would appreciate any and all input, negative is welcome as well, to an extent. Thanks for your time and input

' Wrote:This has been already explained. Since the introduction of auto tech-nerf, technology tree is just a guideline. You can fly Werewolf with Salamancas or fly a pirate ID'ed Bretonian Liner. It doesn't make any sense, neither in roleplay or in practice, but it is not sanctionable. So as long as you use ID allowing 3500 cargo, in fact most IDs allow that, you're fine.
Actually, none of this is true and is actually blatantly misleading. Until such a time as there is an official announcement to the contrary, the tech chart is still in full effect. Flouting it can still get you sanctioned.
That said, the Royal Liner counts as Bretonian Civilian. If you've got an ID that's green celled (or white celled and you ask for permission) as well as a cargo limit that permits it, you're free to fly.
Bowex is one ID that's good for a Royal Liner, if you don't want it to be owned by OSC. Of course, that would depend on whether or not you're looking for a generic ID or not.

Might I add that it would not make much sense if a Bretonian Royal liner is used by a faction with its background any other the Bretonian.
A bit of RP involving a ship like this sounds fairly good to me. I know Bowex needs a liner every now and then and seeing as we have only one that is still on a long range deployment somewhere I am not allowed to tell.. I'd be in favor
