Pirated in Tau-31

Hi all,

I posted here because i had an huge problem in Tau-31.
I did my trade road with Silver Ore to go to Tau-31 but when i arrived next to planet Harris i have seen a junker ( Junker.Collector) who said drop 3900 cargo . . . Is it normal ? because when i had pay the miner for 11Mil and A junker want nearly 41Mil and the total of 5000 cargo is 52Mil, what we do ? doing a road for nothing . . .
So is it allowed by RP rules ? I want to know .

Yes, cargo piracy is allowed in the game and it's also a vital part in it.

Tau-31 isnt a house space.

The Junker ID let you to demand money or cargo except in house space.

So yes, he could ask for it, however its up to behaviour. Asking for that much cargo wasnt a "fair" move by a person, but was absolutely "fair" by a dirty scrapper.

It was the first time what i did this road so we seen that. I think doing nothing (Junker) and steal all the cargo is not acceptable, yes.

The junker did something allowed by the rules and by his individual RP I don't see the problem in here. Trading and mining have a risk in it. My best advice to you is to get a repairship escort, the chances someone will be able to kill you before you dock somewhere are so slim with the backup of 4000 nanobots and shield batteries.

Getting a repairship escort is not a realistic expectation at all.

It'd be interesting to see if said Junker would think it was 'fair' if taxed/pirated/fined for forty million credits.

Cargo piracy is normal, not only where you have been, but also in house space.
The Junker is allowed to pirate outside house space, like people already mentioned, what he did.
It's also okay inRP.

I think it's fair. I have been killed while hauling ores several times and I have no problem with that, this is merely a game.

EDIT: Also, getting repairship escort is as realistic as getting any other escort. For fact I saw people use that method and I didn't even bother to try to kill them since it would be a waste of my time.
