well i just noticed that the BS turrets are now clas 8,9,10.class 10 are the best weapons(mortar missile and razor) and 8's are primaries i think.
i just checked and my ossie has just 1 class 10 turret.isnt it screwed up or what?whats wrong with it?what was wrong with the old system,all BS turrets clas 10 and you load as many turrets as ya like.Now i cant mount 2 mortars or 1 mortar and 1 missile or anything else cuz i only have 1 class 10 turret.
WHY?why did admins implement this?
and why the bullet effects have changed?I saw that many bs turrets have the same effect,why?these new effects suck like hell,why cant we have the old ones back?or is it a bug ?

the old system was reviewed and changed, because it offered problems. - small battleships became solaris platforms making them too strong vs. snubs is one reason.
it was not the admin team deciding that new balance - but the dev team.
what ship can mount how many type x slots is part of the balance.
when its about how projectiles look - its always a matter of taste. - but if those effects are perceived as really really bad - the dev team desperately needs someone who has knowledge of .ale files ( effects ) - there are indeed great effects possible - but it needs someone who is willing to work on those.
yes but by doing this you destroyed the osiris as a battleship.With just 1 mortar I can live,no big deal,but I want 1 more class 10 weapon,I want a missile or pulse or razor.what will I do?
I just saw that the secondaries for order look awful.I mean the effect very close to the gun,when firing.It looks like a hastly made piece of unfinished texture.How do you explain that?
I understand this system,it is good,but let the player decide where to place those class 10 weapons,not give him only one slot.The best system would be where you have x class 8's,y class 9's and z class 10's and you place them WHEREVER you want.The fact that you are forced to mount those weapons to a specific hardpoint ruins this beautiful system IMO.

The Osiris is a tiny battleship. It makes up for its lack of heavy weaponry by being small and agile. If you want a battleship with lots of firepower, do what Peder suggested.
It is being considered, but for now there's no change. For comparison: A large number of 4.85 Ossies were 11 Solaris and one (heavy) mortar. Right now it's being forced to a 1/5/6 configuration. Personally I feel 2/4/6 to be a better configuration for it (Bow top and bottom turrets heavy) but that's up to Mjol.

Lohr'll have you for breakfast:D. But the Sair primaries had a bit of corruption in their ALE, fixored by yours truly, so you'll notice an improvement in their effect come 4.86. Especially the primary impact effect looks a lot better now.

Well, dropping the idea of 2/4/6 loadout is a bad news indeed. However is the other request of order change of class 10 and class 9 wepons has been dropped too?
