Three hours of shooting at a base. We (as a group) reduce the base to 1% hull. Everyone is geared up for the explosion. We're waiting, pouring firepower into it... and... then.....

and this could be with RP also. you blow a base and nothing leaves upon its place? not even scrap? damn not realistic
I second this, a total loss is just to much and there should be some thing in the way of salvage to be realistic and less to dis hearten the owners.
Also why are credits lost, stock/cargo yes but credit would be stored online in such an advanced society as they are in ours today.
The idea of the nice things that bases produces must exclude this option. Bases would be a lot more stronger on next update with working weapon platforms- then it would be almost impossible to destroy a supplied base. Not good supplied ones are and should be free game.
Feedback:
About the Docking modules- I got infos that the heavy ones are for GBs and smaller ones are for fighters.
It would be nice to know more- how many ships they can take, how much cargo they take as well.
Because some nice combos come into my mind- cloaked carrier with snubs undocking or jumping carrier with its own device mk3. May be carriers need more cargo and less guns. If docking modules are not possible to combine with cloak or JD on carriers- they would be pretty useless RP devices.
