If a, hopefully, valid report is made about a player's violation, the steps are taken to use the correct template for the right issue, and time goes by and the report never seems to have gone through, how do I know if there was an actual error, or if the report was deemed invalid?
What's the longest time it has taken to see a report posted, if the report's validity is accurate?
I think around Christmas time it took weeks for a report to be entered. With updates and changes currently in play, I'm thinking its kina like that now?
I'm also presuming all reports go to one "inbox" and one admin just flags it that they will address it or several admins review a post to come to an agreement?
Can I make a report so wrong, (biased and unsubstantiated), that I get into trouble?
Are there reports or places where report errors are made?
Is one admin over another a better person to request a status report after a week or two?
Note: This is not a place to post conspeiracy theories
Sometimes, when all you want is to gain your freedom, you must be willing to risk it all.
Whether the person gets what I think he/she deserves is not of great interest any more. If I see a sanction some time later, sometimes I remember, sometimes I do not that I had something to do with it.
Most likely some part of your evidence was not clear enough.
Or: You are being too impatient.:)Good things take their time.

Stays in the report subforum, and is invisible to all but Admins & Mods.

Yes. It's classified as malicious reporting - the act of reporting an incident and intentionally attempting to present evidence that suggests another player has violated the rules, when they actually have not. Note that an incorrect interpretation of the rules on its own will not get you in trouble - only if the Admins deem that you are doing so with malicious intent.

If your report is in error, such as having the incorrect format, or is otherwise insufficient (usually evidence), then it is locked and ignored.

I would be doubtful if any Admin would tell you the status of a violation report.
...
IIRC, it takes at least 3 Admins to judge a report and agree unanimously on a condemnation, but only one to close if the report is lacking.

The question was never about what "I" think a person deserves but rather the process by which a report is processed and how can I eke a better understanding as to how I can better inform myself to the report and how its processed.
Some reports are done in a day, some take many many days. Since I know this, my question was focused on the process and things that may not be so overt to myself or others.

Thank you. I've seen those options but never tried them. I just reminded myself, searching for my posts, that I can look them over and see who has viewed the report. This helps me to know how far along it is.

Thank you. In a game as fluid as Disco can be the more people looking at a report the better.

I submitted a total of three reports in my time here, and out of those 1 led to a sanction, even though the evidence was overwhelming and the rule violation very clear in one of the other reports that didn't lead to anything.
So file your report, do the best you can (be specific, follow the template to the point, submit plenty of screenshots) and then forget about the negative encounter you had in-game from then on.
