Our forum software, Invision Power Boardt, is rather old and the version we use is no longer supported. We can upgrade to a later version but this'll cost money that we'd rather not spend. The admin team is considering changing to free forum software, something like SMF or MyBB. Before we select something, we'd like to know what people in the community think - if indeed anybody cares. If you know of a good forum package, post your thoughts please.
EDIT: I'm clearly going mad, I'd written Invision Board Point rather than Invision Power Board. Go figure.

Implement post rating and a karma meter. Would make people think twice before posting.

Anything that is similar to what we use now. At least, anything with the Blue Solution color scheme of dark grey, at least optionally. Some of us have very photosensitive eyes and have trouble with white or light blue interfaces (like Skype).

YOU'RE AFRAID OF CHANGE. YOU'RE ALL AFRAID OF CHANGE.
TRY NEW THINGS.
