Need help with harddrive space

Okay, classical situation of "Dafuq did all my space go" and stuff.
Could anyone point me to software which shows the size of the files on that HDD?

Something I can use to track down the one responsible for my 500gb drive to suddenly be full.

TreeSize Free should do the job. I've been using it for that purpose for quite a long time now without any issues or complaints.

I recently had to delete Windows images, those archived ones, to free my friend's disco space. 8|

CCleaner- nice and fast.
It clears all of the irrelevant crap and you can also have a bunch of extra nice options.

Assuming you're using Windows 7. Just do a search for "*.*" in My Computer (will take some time) and then sort by size?

Windirstat is what I use, nice graphical representation of what's taking up the most space.

Have you by change have any recorded stuff?Maybe with fraps?They use a lot of space and they might be the problem here
