I want to learn Blender, so descent models won`t be soon, but...
But let`s dream a bit.
Couple of models of Armored transports? (Small, tough) (All civ., non house, just to make variety?)
Couple of 1.5 - 3k ers (Civ.)
Couple of 3.6k ers (Civ.)
on topic: More ships that would be just same as ships we already have is not needed. ships on disco needs to have different roles and not just transports. for example:
- ship like Armored Transport that is able to mount Nova torpedo, so it could be good pirate ship with not too big cargo hold and that would be easy to kill by bomber
- mining ship with 3k cargo, good armor, but lower speed/cruise speed and bad guns
- special ship (or gun?) that would be good for base siege but not versus ships
- repair ship in all means of this - with guns that can repair hull/shields, fast but defendless (Idk if Freelancer engine would support it though...)
- light fighters with fast guns that would be able to kill bombers but wont work well versus VHF
- for every faction (that already have GBs + few Civilian prototypes for Pirates/Mercs/some Corps) - light Gbs that will kill fighters/bombers and heavy GBs that would kill Light GBs and big bombers
- for every faction (that already have cruisers) - light cruiser - GB hunter and Heavy cruiser - BS hunter
- some special equipment or ship buffs for factions (better shields or regen, better thrusters, better armors, better energy core or regen)
- more types of guns. like ballistic weapons (better vs hull) more missles (if we will make em work, cause when lags appears missles just miss alltime) improved CDs (bigger distruption time or range)
but this would require so many work to do, so I doubt that we will have at least something. Disco engine is getting older - people leaving it to play better games. less people with Dev skills - more time for us to have cool things.
Yes we need! We need more variety. If devs are refusing to let's say throw the unused phantom shipline and stuff away and let them stay unused in official server why can't we have more ships that would actually be used if additional mod size doesn't matter?

Civillian. No. Unique transports must be allow only for trade faction.
There is absolutely need of tier 2 small transports, expensive, tough and with no more then 2000 cargo but with nice agility/size/guns to compensate.
I also see need of LH specific to LH ID transport that is allowed to mount more modular tech because it fits faction RP. Right now with the house civilian nerfs there are only few viable non-nerfed choices.
Firefly also needs re texture.Btw what happened with your junker ships? Did they made it to 4.87?

Aeternus said "no" to the gunboat when it was firslty presented, but Crack has that model, and probably he could do something...or no.
Gitano replacement was marked by Aet as "good but not enough" he asked to throw it via Skype to him so he "Can take a look at what can be done". Though he never accept my Skype invintation and...well he must be too busy.
LF, by the way fully done, even working hitbox. It was handed to Crack as well.
Making Bull dog and Waran is not up to me anymore. I don`t feel like devs feel urgent about that models.

Also: I am leaving Sketchup and start learning Blender, so new models won`t be done that fast and won`t be that good.
