Today I asked a complete stranger "wtf is the matter with you" by mistake

When I came back from work 10 minutes ago, a car that looked exactly like my sister's (brand new, same model, same color color, same rims) pulled up in front of my apartment. It was dark and inside the car I could barely make out someone who looked like my sister. Thing is my sister didnt tell me she was coming, and I wasnt expecting her. I apporached the car and the person let down the window cause she saw me staring at her and approaching. I saw a face that looked like my sister's in the dark, and she was wearing a headscarf. Immediately my first guess was that she secretly married her boyfriend, who is a muslim, and now he completely changed (he is a nice guy actually) and forced her to wear hadscarf and she ran away and wants to hide at my place.

I asked the person in the car "what the $"§& isthe matter with you?" (me and my sis commonly talk to each other like that). The woman looked at me for a while, and asked "excuse me?", and only then I realized it wasnt my sis because of the voice. I explained her to her I confused her with my sister and apologized like 5 times, and the woman laughed.

Also, latent racism wtf xD

I got off third shift years back--stopped at a 7-11 for a "breakfast" and ran in leaving the car running. I had worked 36+ hours straight and when I cam back out I got in my car and backed up--realizing then..."this isn't my car".

I quickly pulled back in and got out and right as I turned to walk away the guy who's car it was came out. He looked at me, looked at his car...and I just kept walking--fast.

I once was on a holiday in thailand in one of those horrible resorts with little houses that all look exactly the same ,
one night i stumbled home into my little house drunk as frak , was a bit surprised my roommate wasnt there , puked on the toilet and crawled in bed.
i awoke from my sleep because someone put the light on, a young woman was screaming like hell and a fat guy was just staring at me really angry.
first thing i asked was wtf are you doing in my room?! then i looked to the side and i saw womans clothes , suitcases that werent mine ... etc.

i jumped out of the bed yelling sorry (in a corner of my eye saw that i missed my aim on the toilet earlier) and ran away.

I really feel your pain.

Back in the 90's I had a piss ant job in a movie theater. There was a national premiere party for a Robert Altman flick one night & the place was stacked w/ press & stuff...Later, after my shift was over & most of the ruckus died down, I was in the john, standing at a urinal, taking a piss after changing into my street clothes, when this old man with a gray head & beard came in & started pissing in the urinal next to mine.

I was irritated that out of the string of pisspots on the wall, the dude had to choose the one right next to me...I went about my business and the old man finished up before me...& on the shake, flung piss droplets on my left boot.

That pissed me right the 'eff off & I proceeded to very rudely & loudly express my disapproval.

The guy was apologetic & calm saying that he simply had a beer too many, (and I knew accidents simply happen sometimes & a few droplets of pee ain't gonna kill me)...problem was, I was on a roll & didn't feel like being perfectly reasonable. I was tired & cranky.

Cool as cool could be, he apologized again & shrugged me off & headed out the door.

My buddy was entering as the old man was exiting & did a double take & asked him for an autograph.

Come to find out, Kenny Rogers pissed on my boot.

Ya know how it's a violation of the unspoken 'dude code' to be social mid stream? Hell, I don't remember the number, but one of 'em was "never make water and eye contact simultaneously" ...I'm almost sure of it.
