Okay, so there is a group A and group B.
One of the A's is killed by group B.
If the rest of the A group annihilates B, then any killed player from A can return....
So what is the point? Basically, unless you have a big enough taskforce, you should not bother attacking a raiding group, because if your side does perish, everyone from the raiding group can return fully restocked and camp your bases.
EDIT: Incidentally, isn't it what is currently going on with LN and RM raids, where LN just retreat to NY and log?

Maybe you are in some minor error here . Any of group B just need to stay in another system , is not that hard

I think this was sort of made with traders in mind, rather than actual battles/mining. So you can return to your usual route faster when the pir rat leaves.

Traders should stay dead if they refused to pay up. Same with miners. Same with raiders. Most of people goes like "ok kill me i'll just come back when you leave".

Usually people, when killed, ragequit. All you need to do is wait until your group kills the others, they log off and you can rejoin the fun. That is how the rule currently is.
