Emilia leans back. After all this talk of discrecy and such, she certainly wasn't expecting the job to be a simple "Bring goods or people from A to B" job. But well, it brings some money into the wallet. Afterall, that's why she came here in the first place.
"Accepted. Just tell me how many units and preferred origin. Direct import from California, I suppose? About the passengers transports, if you tell me where to pick them up I can bring them to the station in maximum three days.
One more thing, what'll be the reward?"
With slightly hinted lack of elegance, she grabs her glass once more and tastes the last drops of the fine and tasty wine. She definately expected more, but this opportunity for money is like a gift, and you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth. As the warming drops of the alcoholic drink flow down her throat. She can't help but feel that there is more to it, and this is the start of very healthy business.
" The FloraGro should be taken from California, oui. That proves to be the most cost-efficient route. You will also be notified about any passenger transportation request when such calls will arrive. I must note that we will only receive and accept transportation requests for passengers which happen to be Spaceship Crewmen also. " he said, not moving his eyes from Emilia's view
" As for the reward, I am sure you will be rewarded for every cargo you bring. If you do not believe me, let us make a little math... " He then took out his PDA from his pocket, opened a file and started to show Emilia all the necessary details.
As you can see, one unit of FloraGro is bought from California for exactly 349 Sirian Credits. These analyzes do not lie. If the calculations are correct, then considering the distance, the possible dangers along the way and the priority of such a commodity would make the profit sum up to a total of 2253 Sirian Credits per unit. Profit which will entirely fall into your hands. There is no urgency whatsoever, and the contract's span is indefinite. You can undertake and pause it whenever you desire. This applies to the passenger contract as well.
A moment of silence was erupted by Robert as he closed the PDA and threw it back from where he grabbed it.
"Are there any questions madame? Counter-offers? Second thoughts, maybe? " he said, glaring with an ironic, cynical smile.
" I assure you, do this bien and your story shall not end here, madame "
Meanwhile...
Christoph felt the time falling down behind him as sand in an hourglass. He wished to continue the conversation with the Aurigae representative and do exactly what Robert asked him to do.
Unfortunately, too many people came into the discussion to allow him to continue his conversation undisturbed.
" Monsieur Achille... " He said as he liften himself from the chair, in an attempt to interrupt the conversation in a subtle and non-irritant way so that he could announce his departure.
" Robert said he would like that minor detail done " he said, pointing with his view towards the Aurigae representative.
" Anyway, I must bid you "Au revoir" to everyone. There are some family matters which I must go to now. Divitiae et Unitas. Au revoir " he said, bowing down respectully as the gentleman he is to each and everyone of them present at the conversation.
He then left slowly for the Dome's exit. His presence shattered, leaving but a shadow that shall soon fade as well

Achille grinned at the Aurigae’s sudden change in tone, about as subtle as a substantial brick being dropped on one’s toe. Well, you’re only learning from the best cheri, good to keep it like that Oui?
“Ah, the biodome. It’s a remarkable thing that to keep an area like this so lush and verdant you need to pump it full of chemicals. Leave this place to nature even for a second and all sorts of unplesantries would occur. Trees would uproot themselves. Environmental controls would go, pfft…” He made a snapping gesture with his wrist. “…Like so. We, apologies, I, wouldn’t be able to breathe. To grow a new Eden in the middle of the ether is not an easy task by any estimation…”
It was at this moment Christoph brushed him. Charmed I’m sure. Achille smiled, capitalising on the newly vacant chair; sinking into the plush. “Well my dear Yiriam, you would be correct in surmising that this station consumes a laborious amount of that irritatingly trademarked product; the unspeakably Libertonian chemical tripe FloraGro on a regular basis”… *pauses to breath* “…and any form of outsourcing to your people would be most desirous. Since this stations grows flora, it appears only apt oui”? Achille flourished, his showman’s grin tweaking up a degree.
“Perhaps I digress. And yes my dear, any offer of contract between our… intriguing peoples should always be on the board. Something as complex as inter-racial diplomacy was never solved through mere…” Achille paused to prize a wineglass from a waiter’s plate, whispering something in his ear as he did so “…Social call. I admire your discretion at attempting to enter partnership with our fraternity and I proffer you the same offer at any available time, cheri. Unity… can only make us stronger. Both of us”.
“But of course, the necessities of capitalism…” Achille released a theatrical sigh “… it is only expected that you would wish to derive some form of financial benefit from our contract, as indeed, do we all. So let me lay forth my offer madam, and see if you find it fitting to your... specialist requirements.”
The waiter had returned. His tray contained a notable absence of wine but rather Robert’s PDA, which Achille immediately liberated. “If you care to look here madam…” He gestured, pointing to the device. “…The total revenue for a complete trip to the Freeport from planet California Minor would lie at 2253 Sirian Credits per cubic tonne, to be transferred immediately as soon as the fertilizer is unloaded. This my dear, is the minimum we can offer the Aurigae for the service. So, to make the offer even more tangible, let me add a premium…” He lowered his voice. “…What I am prepared to do, for you, for the Aurigae Union, is to offer the Aurigae full and unrestricted birthing access at Freeport ten, plus the utilization of particular Commonwealth research facilities…”but not all of them cheri, “…If you so desire. Aurigae, as one of the Commonwealth’s new-found suppliers, would be free to purchase ships from the Commonwealth, I.E., light craft of Sirian Zoner origin, and in return we’d be collectively happy to supply the Aurigae with any niche materials you may be requiring for the purposes of colonisation, and I freely invite the Union to participate in Commonwealth supply convoys if you so choose…” He took a sip of his wine. “That’s quite a package Cheri”.
“I trust this suits the Union. Remember my dear, you scratch our collective backs, and we’ll give you a deep-tissue massage in return. Such is the way things are. Now please, feel free to take me up on my offer before I’m forced to render it differently”.
He slumped back in the chair.

After listening to all of Achille's explanations, and most importantly his offer. Still, being an Aurigae construct makes it hard for her to understand all human gestures, or especially metaphors, such as Achille's last phrases: “Remember my dear, you scratch our collective backs, and we’ll give you a deep-tissue massage in return. Such is the way things are."
With a more serious face, she now stood and thought for a few moments, calculating and comparing data. The contract you propose in reference to this commodity trade is more than enough for us. As for obtaining some of your vessels, that might be a discussion for another time, after i speak with my colleagues about it.
She took a few steps away from the table and looked around, then continued: On the other hand, it would be a waste if this beautiful bio-dome would be left scared by the lack of proper care. She ended her phrase with a chuckle.
Well then, i assume we can get started. I'll notify everyone and we will hopefully get started with this soon enough. We'll probably send you a transmission when everything has been arranged. She bowed and finished with a few words. I bid you farewell for now.
After this, she slowly began walking towards the exit from the amphitheater.
Emilia shifts on her seat as she carefully listened to the details of the assignment that'll add a few more weeks worth of supplies and maintenance onto her otherwise pretty much bare wallet. This might aswell open opportunities for other contracts with the Commonwealth, she silently thought to herself. Building and keeping a business relation with them sounds like a fairly good idea that is going to scratch her crew a living.
"I am grateful for your offer and accept it. On behalf of those on the Sanguine Aurora, you have my thanks for this business. We better not hesitate with this then."
Meanwhile, she notices that her glass is already empty aswell. Seeing that, she stands up and extends her hand for a traditional handshake.
"I look forward to more business in the future. Can't think of anything else, so I'll go and have to get things going, as you can imagine. It's been a pleasure, Robert."
Achille turned to Robert, adopting a face of pseudo-severity, preparing to grapple with his boss. "Robert, these PDA's are expensive and fragile, would you kindly desist from flinging them around as the moment suits you?" He enunciated, adrenalized by success, "Although your laze fare attitude to disposable consumerism is a trait that I can only grovel before, you don't think you outdo yourself at times, non?" .
THE SYNDIC LEAGUES

Down inside one of Sylvania's lush gardens, everything flows with perfect grace as always. If one were to take a look closely to one of the rivers, they would notice a young woman with brown hair sitting on the grass, looking at the water closley, slowly looking around, seeing all the scenery. She was obviously new here, one of the new members of the Commonwealth.
Susan McCarthy. She was not really that comfortable around other people, this was made clear when she came here. But she did seem to have some comfort around nature itself and a feeling of being along. Infact, this actually was one of the first times she has left her ship in quite a while time other than locally in a station. A biodome was new.
"Its such a shame its fake.." A small voice mutters, barely audible unless you were right next to her.
What else to do other than look at the scenery.. Perhaps time will tell, but for now? She was relatively comfortable where she is at right now.
After a long and, from an utterly perspective, dull day, Robert once again decided to find relaxation in the lush engulfing scenery Sylvania Biodome struggles to recreate.
His furry, feral companion was following him as always, the docile black leopard, leashed to Robert's left hand, was following his foot steps.
Indifferent and totally oblivious to the world around him, Robert slowly traversed the scenery, making his way to a near bar while his steps were drenching themselves into the floor.
After he had procured a welcoming gaul red wine poured into a courteous glass which he held between his middle and ring finger, Robert finally stopped at the other side of the river Susan was admiring.
Adopting a straight, laid back stance, Robert was carefully sipping his drink while admiring the view, his companion was lounging by his side.
" We could use more trees... " He thought, skimming his eyes to the rows of decorative trees nearby the river.
Right after he finished half of the wine in his glass, his eyes pounced upon the silhouette which sat at the opposite side of the river. It didn't take him long to recognize who she was actually and thus, he decided to find a nearby little wooden bridge connecting the two plots of land blatantly separated by the river.
Before he finally approached her though, Robert took a moment to disperse himself even further from the world he rested his existence into by admiring the ring which found itself at his right hand's middle finger. A trinket bearing the sign of the Commonwealth and a symbol of commitment.
Gripping back on his lucidity and making himself aware to the surroundings once more - at least in the state of awareness he found himself in initially - Robert approached Susan.
After he found himself behind her, he fixed the position of his hat on his head with his right hand, only to greet her:
" Bonjour, madame Susan. " his voice warmly intonated.
" I hope you enjoy the colours this Dome indulges you with "
