Fewer vessels pose as much of a headache for Ageira's Universal ID system than this line of craft.
Combining Junker ingenuity and manufacturing genius, each of these ships is hand-crafted to meet schematics passed among generations within Junker families.
The tradition surrounding the construction of these ships varies from family to family, from assembling the vessels using scavenged parts to finding components through barter and more dubious means.
No two vessels are ever the same. Each is made with pride to serve as the hallmark of the Junker who built it. Even so, certain characteristics are universal. This is a nimble ship which can slip through junkfields and wrecks to settle in locations where even CSV's cannot tread. With generous combat and salvage capabilities, this ship ensures that any Junker's foray into space will be a profitable one.

Quote:Turanic Raiders Freighter
Junkers used an alien ship design to construct this rare and heavily armored freighter. Pirates prefer to avoid it whenever possible. Having strong hull and enough energy to fire the best guns available, in skilled hands Raiders Freighter might be as deadly as a good heavy fighter.
Combat Service Freighter
The vast holds and deft maneuverability of the Combat Service Vehicle and Collector had long served the Junker's salvage operational needs well. What those vessels lacked in hardiness was more than supplemented by a defense far stronger than any armor: the Junker's mastery of political intrigue, corruption and hard won establishment of the necessity of their presence.
Then came an enemy who had no regard for such things: The Wild.
Operations at Yanagi depot had hit a major snag. Combat enforcement were hard pressed to deal with the near-constant presence of the deadly hybrid vessels, especially with the majority of their fighting presence being placed in a position of holding off Hogosha incursions while attempting to mute their military presence in the heartland of the Gas Miners Guild.
The swift answer came in the form of the CSF. With vastly improved cargo capacity, shielding and defensive capabilities the vessel quickly proved itself as an able frontline salvage operator. Slight increases in cost were more than made up for in a marked increase in performance in nearly every respect.

Quote: Combat Service Vehicle (CSV)
The CSV is a ship specific to the Junkers and the Hogosha. Not generally considered a huge threat, it is used in their nearly continuous search for more salvage.
Combat Service Vehicle (CSV)
The CSV first came into service somewhere around XXX, not long before the official recognition of the emergency of the Junker population. The precursors of this vessel can be found in the myriad designs employed by individual Junker homebrewed designs found cruising about the inner system junk fields.
The pure economical genius of the craft found itself many admirers in the form of commercial engineering and space lifting companies, who quickly clamored for access to these vessels for their own purposes (much to the dismay of commercial vessel retailers).
Since then, the Junkers have made a tidy business issuing this small but hardy freighter for the use of the greater population of Sirius, though not without occasional ingenious refinements to plans and purpose that have been attributed to roughly 40% of all hair loss in official maintenance and design document producers.
The Collector is an advanced version of the common Combat Service Vehicle. Built by the Junkers, this ship has enough power to supply the most advanced heavy fighter weaponry, and enough hull strength to stand against the most formidable opposition a Junker may expect. However, due to large cargo hold the Collector lacks agility compared to other very heavy fighters.
Leaving her be.

Quote:XA-15 "Death Scythe"
Origins of Death Scythe remain unknown; Junkers sometimes sell this ship at their bases, but would never tell where it came from. However, Death Scythe gained reputation of one of the best middle-class heavy fighters available these days. Reasonable price is quite attractive for beginning freelancers.
Name- Pending creativity
Occasionally a Junker , crawling about the cramped confines of ship hulls with hastily penned and rarely consulted plans donning coveralls soaked in all manner of hydraulic fluids and other chemicals meets, well, an early end due to asphyxiation.
However! The maddening cocktail of heady chemicals and single minded focus on the task at hand occasionally leads to the sort of mechanical genius that only a Junker, and those facing them, could appreciate in the form of a ship seemingly designed under the philosophy of more power.
While slow to the turn, these ships feature a unique torpedo hardpoint and slightly increased combat performance over their smaller counterparts. Disdained by many Junkers as flying bombs they nevertheless find a small following in the madmen who conceive of their construction.

Design of this ship is based on an alien prototype found in Omega-47 system. Liberty companies bought the prototype from Rheinland to produce inexpensive and fast Light Fighter.
CTE L-337-K Civilian Shuttle
Based on a popular airship common to Libertonian skies for generations; the day to day travel needs, and wallets, of the clientele pushed the development of this ship from the household docking platform to the interstellar tradelanes. Considered a cut above the mundane CTE 750AE Starflea, as its referred to with disdain by those who can afford not to own it, this vessel has earned its place as the go to interstellar transport for the up-and-comer flying from the villa on Denver to the office on Manhattan and back again before the synths grown cold.
With defenses more than capable of dealing with inner-house ne'er-do-wells and bringing the fight back when entrusted to the right hands, this vessel rarely need make use of its luxurious escape pods, outstanding warranty and redundant crybaby sos systems.

CTE HF-1309-K Civilian Escort
One of the heaviest ships of the civilian line, the 1309 was built for the maximum in comfort, style and security. Between the sleek lines of thick Fubarite armor plates and intimidating offensive capabilities the aura of intimidation that ensconce the vessels stately appointments is more than enough to deter most would-be assailants.
The latest in Ageira artificial intelligence fight or flight mechanisms ensure that the vessel itself is prepared to provide the best possible VIP security that money can buy. So, relax, enjoy and opt to be informed or not as your chariot reduces offending vessels to their base components in a fashion that aims to serve, never inconvenience.

Kadesh Freighter is one of the few remnants of ancient alien civilization that occupied systems of what we now know as Omega sector. Compact design of this ship proved to be perfect for conversion into a middle-class freighter.
CTE FR-2302-K Civilian Freighter
Developed to answer Libertys long maintained question: How to shuttle about middle management in such a way that could still be used for bragging rights. The answer is to be found in the beautiful craftsmanship of the FR-2302-K. Sculpted lines and a sturdy hull hide behind thick shields, ensuring your orbiting board meeting or personnel transfer be conducted in the utmost of security In more ways than one.
Advanced scanner thwarting software, internal debugging devices and dampening hull coatings work, under the pretence of corporate security, to ensure that this vessel provide an information black hole. Shady back room deals come in, media scrutiny stays out. This coupled with a nightmarishly complex honeycombing of secret compartments makes this vessel an ideal corporate smuggling device, for everything from smuggling financial secrets to ensuring that the law doesnt interfere in those of Libertys elite to pursue personal fancies.

Quote:Kiith Somtaaw Light Fighter
KS-439-LF
This Light Fighter is produced in Liberty, but is rumored to originate from unknown alien race. Being cheap and agile, it is a good choice for beginning freelancers.
Centuries past, prior to the discovery and implementation of modern conveniences such as the Ageira engine, tradelanes and space elevators mining in space was a thoroughly cruder affair than the monstrously efficient practice seen employed in modern times. Monsterous vessels were crafted to house the engines necessary to make the journey to resource deposits in realistic timeframes, at which small mining vessels were deployed en masse to located and process mineral deposits for transport to home platforms and vessels.
While history had seen many revolutionary steps since those early days, the usefulness of independent mining craft has remained undiminished. With powerful multiphase sensory equipment the vessel is well equipped to scout ahead of heavier craft to find the richest deposits of mineral ore and robustly defended should she encounter something somewhat more hostile than floating rocks.

KS-779-HF
In space, few environments are as deadly as those encountered by miners; intractable instabilities in asteroids can lead to sudden explosions of rocks when exposed to pressure, resulting in massive chain reactions of flying debris weighing in the hundreds on tons and pockets of frozen elements that suddenly roar to life in a violent explosion of light and heat.
Of the hellish places men trod to turn the wheels of industry, few are as nightmarish as the sulphured diamond fields of Rheinland. Given the intense environment necessary to create diamonds, the vessels designed to scout those fields, and to thwart the vessels of those who comb them looking for prey, provoked the evolution of an exceptionally hardy vessel. With redundant sensor and propulsion systems, the ship is designed to remain operational following multiple impacts which would prove catastrophic to many other vessels of the same weight class.
With top not offensive and defensive capabilities, the design was quickly snatched up by mining companies looking for a vessel designed to operate in any environment that could be conceivably thrown at it.

Top not should be top-notch in this one.
I really enjoy the descriptions, full of character and life. Hope I'm not being pedantic. Nice work.
a couple of things, first, are we removing the CSV from the Hogosha's list of approved ship?
Second, I don't like the changes to the turanic Raiders Freighter, as this seems to make a junker ship, meaning Hogosha and FA wouldn't be able to use them, which gives these 2 groups no good freighter to use. I happen to use the Turanic Freighter as a bank ship for the AFA, but I think it fits with the Hogosha RP very well, I think the better move would be to take the junkers reference out of the Turanic freighter, and make it a general, or pirate freighter.
