Operation Kusari Freedom was a resounding success resulting in the neutralization of all enemy units, although losses were sustained. This is a long and bloody road to victory Comrades, and you have distinguished yourselves tonight.
Of special note is Lt. Warren Juneau, whose expert flying and cool disposition under fire saved the day and turned potential defeat into a resounding victory!
For his valour, and dedication, he is being awarded the Halo of Valour. Let his example lead you all to such great achievements!
Also it should be noted, that under orders from the Grand Admiral's office, Viktor Heinz is to be promoted to Lt. Commander effective immediately and granted all privileges of the rank and commission. Vicenta Gonzales and Mikhail Petrov are to be promoted to the ranks of Lieutenants as well for their part in the twin operations that occoured over this weekend.
Be it so noted that Sub. Lt. Vicenta Gonzales has been seconded to the Provost Marshals office for the purpose of rigorously purging Counter-Revolutionary saboteurs from the flight deck crews and maintenance staff.
Any and all are ordered to assist her in the course of her investigation in so far as it does not interfere with flight operations, nor the combat efficiency of the Fighter Corps.
This temporary commission will expire at the completion of her duty. She is authorized to terminate any spy that she encounters with extreme prejudice.

I wish to report that the JiangXi engineers working on Malkolaiv shipyards have completed the hull of the first of our new class of Light Cruisers. The Hessian technicians, working alongside Comrade-Lt. Commander Mao, are fitting the vessel CPW-Trotsky with its engines as we speak.
Work is already progressing on the second ship of this line, the CPW-Ty.Kirk which should enter service some time in the New Year.
Contact has been made with the Order to acquire their RECON sensor technology to incorporate in the outfitting stage of the construction process. This should round out the efficiency of the vessel as a forward command post in our ongoing operations.
The CPW-Trotsky, once its engines are installed, will be available for pre-commissioning trials to all High Command officers, feed back to the design team on how to improve the class will be implemented after a two week shake down period.
It is advised that this new Cruiser be spared front line operation until after it has completed its Commissioning trials, the last thing we want is our state of the art warship captured by the enemy.
Lt. Gonzales has been charged, in her capacity with the Provost Marshals department, with the security of this project. She is currently vetting Pre-Commissioning crew members through an exhaustive interview process to ensure they will ensure secrecy.
The Revolution, with a little luck, is about to take a giant leap forward Comrade-Commissars.
Comrades! Today we have struck a great blow against those treacherous snakes who dared defy the ideals of the Revolution and sabotage our ships.
I began my investigation in Flight Deck 3 on Zvezdny Gorodok, where I immediately discovered shoddy maintenance work and vague, confusing logs designed to throw my investigation off the trail. I arrested the entire flight deck crew on suspicion of treason and began extensive interrogations. Three cracked after fifteen minutes of interrogation and confessed to being Alliance spies. I summarily executed them as examples to the rest, who remained steadfast in their declaration of loyalty to the Coalition. Two of them proved their loyalty by naming people they suspected of being capitalist infiltrators, while the others said they did not know of anybody. They are currently being detained under maximum guard until they either prove their loyalty or confess.
I shall as soon as I can follow the leads I obtained from the two flight deck staff members, when next I am not interviewing crew members for the new light cruisers.

I have good news Comrade-Commissars, the Order has agreed to open negotiations on the RECON sensor package we would mount on the new Light Cruiser class.
Also our Scouts are preparing an intensive mission to collect data on all current Cruiser classes in and around Sirius. This should provide us with current data as to the capabilities of the current cruisers threats.
The CPW-Trotsky underwent engine trials yesterday evening, which were concluded successfully with an escorted flight from the shipyards to Starbase and back again, stopping alongside the CPW-Kurt Eisner for comparison filming and Propaganda purposes.
The Cruiser will soon commence Arsenal outfitting, and shield mounting, and be ready for live fire and simulation trials shortly.
Also the keel for the third vessel of the class was laid down awaiting a name befitting his status.
It is with great pleasure that I relay this message. Upon my last sortie into Kusari controlled space I was presented with a unique opportunity to educate those who would otherwise be oppressed.
Upon entrance of the Sigma-19 system I took notice of one GMG contact, approximately 10km from my location. Thinking nothing of it I brushed off the target with light banter. Much to my surprise the contact pursued myself and established communications by threat. Clearly out of range and incapable of competing with my Insurgent I took the opportunity to strike back verbally. However through the course of a few short exchanges I took notice of the subject's willingness to listen.
As such I took the opportunity to open dialogue with this individual in the hopes of changing the working people's view of the SCRA within Kusari dominion. As matters progressed it was shown that the target maintains a high aptitude for ciritcal reasoning and willingness to embetter his fellow working men. Even stating that he finds kin within the Guild itself and not within his native territory. This quality I found admirable. Despite his attempts to reason against my blatant honesty about the state of affairs in the Kusari Empire.
The subject identified himself as Taro Katsuo, Guild Master of the GMG.
Shortly thereafter again I was berrated by a denizen of Kusari, this time however the subject was of the NovaPG. Subject was identified as Juntoku Genji. Initial contact was rough, I was myself expecting a violent encounter. This however was not the case. Instead the Dragon chose to listen to the exchange between myself and the aforementioned GMG contact. This resulted in a private communication where I was requested to meet, and remarkably, talk. By this point the NovaPG contact seemed borderline amicable and willing to hear my words instead of dismissing them outright (as all Dragons do).
I chose to oblige this request. However due to interference by AFA and IKN forces it did not occur. The result however was a lessening of tensions. No contact was made with the AFA present, communications did proceed with IKN forces. Nothing short of illiterate and undereducate nonsense beaten into their skulls by their so-called Emperor.
Several civilians also chose to enter commentary of minor nature.
Due to the presence of hostile forces all escape vectors were found to be either blocked or of too high risk to pursue. As such I chose to wait out matters outside of planetary sensor range, only retruning to home port nearly fourteen hours after the fact. I take full responsibility for this and apologize for the lateness of this report.
Complete flight data recordings can be found within the databank here.
Lt Cmdr. Gabriel Mao.

I would like to inform you of an impending diplomatic visit by Grand Admiral Kelt to discuss our proposed technology exchange, and to participate in our CLASSIFIED operation as part of our Alliance treaty.
There will be a reception held in Kalashnikovs on ZG(starbase) where dress uniforms will be required for all in attendance. Elite fighter units will stand ready to offer the Admiral protection during the course of his visit.
Attendance is not mandatory, but disciplined behaviour is. Anyone that causes High Command or Grand Admiral MacIntosh to loose face will take the long walk out the shortest airlock aboard the Havana.
These negotiations are important for our developing relations with the Order, and after recent events involving renegade Order vessels and our research station. And considering how swiftly Order High Command moved to deal with said threats, we should show our gratitude and the hospitality of the great Coalition Social Republic and the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army.
***ID: Lt. Mikhail "Beagle" Petrov***
***Subject: Heavy fighter request***
Comrades, Comissars of our ship development department,
Seems like I was assigned to our quite small support/recon wing by Commissar-Commander Katz, which will hopefully gain in numbers later. For the best effectivity though, our Partisans are sometimes lacking. Insurgents on the other hand while being great in direct combat, are not suitable for fast recon missions. We might need certain middle ground between them.
I know we are currently developing entirely new line of ships, and I would like to ask if a Heavy fighter design is included, or if it could be included if it already isn't.
If the recon wing is supposed to be effective, we need a heavy fighter capable of defending itself to some degree, while being agile enough to escape enemy patrols in one piece if needed. All that while carrying a long range scanner, communication jammers and various other equipment for operations behind enemy lines.
I understand that our designers might be a bit busy already, and the time when first prototypes are launched are far from us now, so I'd like to request a temporary solution to this issue:
Quote:Series QX "Switchblade" Border Worlds Heavy Fighter
An upscale version of the Scimitar, this ship is classified as a heavy fighter, and she is meant to take enterprising souls where the scimitar can't. With improved power core, heavier armor, better shields, and the capability of delivering far more firepower, this girl will help a brave pilot find fortune in the BorderWorlds and Edge Worlds.
Stats
Gun/Turret Mounts: 6/1
Armor: 8000
Cargo Space: 45
Max Batteries/NanoBots: 50/50
Optimal Weapon Class: 7
Max. Weapon Class: 9
Additional Equipment: M, CM, CD/T
While being still quite fragile, it's able to survive a little bit more than the Light fighter, while being able to carry more advanced equipment. Our Hessian Comrades are selling them right off at Ronneburg, which is in Omega 5 - just one jump from Omega 52. Only thing I'm afraid of is the use of Kalashnikovs on them. The ship is equipped with quite weak powerplant compared to our ships, and our weaponry will drain it in matter of seconds. Well, we are recon wing, and everything has it's drawbacks after all.
I'd like to request a few pieces to be allowed for the recon wing as a temporary replacement until our own are complete.
Transmission to: Lieutenant Mikhail Petrov
Comm ID: Captain Totenkopt, Recon Squadron Commander
Comrade, I'm afraid I must deny your request. I have requested several times that a similar solution be implemented, but the decisions to adopt a new class of ship is made at the flag officer level, and the late Admiral Kirk has told me to shut up about it on more than one occasion.
Rest assured however, there will be a Heavy Recon version of the new snubfighters, or I will personally kill every member of the design team, and make it my business to make sure they suffer while I'm at it.
For the moment, continue to use the insurgent or the partisan, whichever suits your needs the most, and when the new line is released I will ensure that my squadron is the first to be equipped with them.

I would start this report by making two diplomatic announcements.
The first is the solidification of ties to the Order. We are moving towards a full alliance, treat the order with respect, if they are in trouble, aid them. Together we are a thin line standing against the alien menace, and the menace of Cardamine, dont forget your duty to stopping that vile poison.
Secondly, I have to announce a trade agreement has been reached with the TAZ.
Their vessels will begin requesting trade visas with Omega-52, to ship in wine and Tobacco. This means that they will be applying for Visas with their transport/freighter class vessels ONLY.
Standard visa applications apply, and the only Zoner trading vessels granted visas will be TAZ affiliated.
This is their restrictions:
-Transport ships ONLY!! NO fighter type ships or cap ships. If you are under escort, you're escort will have to wait outside their system. If you are caught with a fighter or cap ship in their space, you will be arrested and subject to their law. I have heard a Coalition Gulag is not a fun place to be.
-If you use it as a trade route, don't explore, just fly through. If ordered to stop, do so. Again, their laws apply.
-If you are trading, conduct your business and go.
-Respect their guests in there.
In exchange we have the following permissions:
-If you see a Coalition member in Baffin, they are allowed to be there but are subject to our laws as well and have been granted docking at Shasta.
That means no shooting in Baffin, you are guests there. I dont care what happens in Baffin. You open fire with your guns, and I will shoot you myself when you return to Starbase!
Alternatively if you see any Zoner breaking the above rules in our system terminate them, bring them aboard Starbase where they will stand trial for espionage/counter revolutionary behaviour.
The Revolution has gained not one, but two allies here today.
Also it should be noted that for two independent operations today, Captain Luis Gallentra and Lt. Stenka Razin are both awarded the Halo of Valour for exceptional flying in the face of difficulties.
Lt. Razin for engaging Four Benitez Corsairs after the Social Credit encountered ion interference. Agreeing and engaging in honourable combat with Rodrigo Benitez, a feat witnessed by both myself and Lt. Petrov.
Captian Gallentra for his outstanding operations aboard one of our Destroyers, he successfully shot down a gunboat and two bombers, as well as causing an Corsair dreadnought to tuck tail and run.
For the Revolution, and for Grand Admiral MacIntosh!
