Not possible to pay off a pirate?! Are you nuts? I've done it twice already! And once I've ran. Well, twice, but that second time didn't count because before I was told to pay, I had already had my shield blown off. x.x

Why cant they just lower the npc's cargo space to something normal like instead of 80,000 on a cargo ship make it 20,000 or something but also make it the same for player controlled ships. Cause I know every trader is sick of buying a full cargo hold when they have tons of money to buy alot more, even with the advanced train it's 5000 but imagine if it was four times that. The pirates would have to buy there own cargo ships and bring them along with there brethren to collect the cargo if they had to destroy the poor trader.

On the note of the primary question: The NPC stuff is screwed up. NPCs have stuff players can't have, it's hardwired into the game (I think, I'm no modder:P) like for example I saw a topic about home guard guns. The guard guns are twice as good as the faction guns, but no matter how many times you kill the guard, they wont drop the gun. ever. NPC's are strange. I just ignore that kind of stuff ingame now. Easier that way.
