Go look at the events forum. Deety is helping arrange some. Burned, I know.
Furthermore, why would that require a faction? That requires planning, nothing more. You get together some interested parties on either side, you plot a time, you plan what will happen, you set restrictions, you fight. Simple. No need for a pseudo-faction.
A lot of people dislike Indies, I personally have no problem with independants, in fact, I just made all of my Navy characters independants. It is easier to have fun and organize things when we have a faction in place. I'm looking to explore an area of the war which has been left blank, nothing more.

But I digress, there is simply no need for this to exist. Maybe just become an awesome super win look-at-how-epic-I-am events planner?
I was not forced to do anything.
And if there was no need for something to exist, then nothing much WOULD exist. There is no NEED for Disco to exist, and yet it does. Why? Becuase it will bring enjoyment to some people.
And an awesome super win look-at-how-epic-I-am events planner? I don't think I'd be allowed to, as I'm not on the [LN] high commands favourite list.
You know what I mean, taking my words exactly as they are is simply time-wasting. There is a reason for Discovery existing, as there is a reason for factions such as the Liberty Navy, Rheinland Military, Bretonian Armed Forces (Go Bretonia!) and Kusari Naval Forces. However, having yet another Liberty-based (read: most populated house) faction specifically designed to attack Rheinland (read: already massively outnumbered) seems silly to me.
But then, I know very little, so feel free to ignore me.
I have to make a point. Liberty has gone to hell in a hand basket as far as I'm concerned. Hardly anything is serious in Liberty, aside from the Bretonian Convoy's that go through.
Not to mention, I've noticed during my passing on both my BAF and PFI, that all the Liberty Indies have pretty much capitalships. Most of the LN Forces deployed are "Capitalships"
What Seth is trying to do is take the "Lolwut" out of "Liberty" by getting the serious players together and organized.
EDIT:
Last I checked the game isn't based on Player interaction. If this was the case Bretonia would be sitting in New Tokyo by now. So having more players/factions in Liberty vs Rheinland means little.
I believe, in talking to Igiss, that number's of people don't really matter, as he decides who wins and who loses.
Also, if we are providing a good example for the most populated house, then good, I think that's a success.
You are only limited by your imagination. I imagine, I make things happen. I want to improve peoples experience on Disco, while enjoying myself at the same time.
*shrug* the main reasons why I disaprove of this;
-Overpopulating Liberty (I actually think I will disband the 22nd and delete Isabelle for good this time)
-A faction whose primary goal is to have PvP fun and no solid RP background - meaning, it was made for PvP first, and maybe RP second.
Also. I do agree the LN is most disgusting right now. The total lack of seriousness, and the fact I witness a number of high command players who decided to name their character after silly name for the fun of it.
It is not funny.
As official faction, you are to provide the example, not to act like the rheinland indie BS on the other side of the border.
Did you actually answer my question there? All I got was a load of fluffy nonsense. Hell in a hand basket ... I imagine, I do.
Why are you making it harder yet again for Rheinland players? Why not just organise the events, instead of making another group dedicated to blasting the poor guys to hell and back?
